I don't like it at all when my foundation disappears or dries up into patchy spots too. My skin is dry . When I'm done with school I've noticed in my car mirror that some foundations just vanish. It's such an awful feeling . I may check out that foundation . Do you have recommendations to other brands that stay on at least half the day and are dry skin friendly? Any price range. 🎉
Hi Liisa :) The best 2 foundations for dry skin in my opinion are Hydromaniac from Urban Decay (light, perfect for every day) and Beautiful skin from Charlotte Tilbury (A bit more heavy but beautiful). Thank you for commenting 🥰
@liisabjork76 With dry skin, always put moisturizer before the foundation.. And on days when your skin is extra dry, then you might want to avoid putting any moisturizer at all, at least on the dry spots.. (Then maybe put only on the T-zones and leave the dry spots bare) I recommend Maybelline's "Fit Me" foundation, the one for normal/dry skin! (It's called "Luminous + Smooth"? Or in some countries "Dewy + Smooth") And this Maybelline's 24Hour Skin Tint seems good for dryer skin too, so far at least... Lastly, check out True Match (by Loreal) ~ I haven't tried it myself, but have heard positive stuff about it...
I find their shades confusing. There's no shade map in which they'd show what number is cool, neutral, warm... Normally companies do that, so it's easier to pick the right shade. With this, they've just marked them with simple numbers, and some of the numbers are even so close ~ like 5 and 5.5, and 6 and 6.5... How do you know what is what ?? I tried 5 in the shop and that was not yellow at all (at least on my skin), and even though I'm pretty light in the face, number 5 was *slightly* too pale on me... So I think the shades have MINIMAL differences, though I haven't been able to test more yet. (Many shops lack all the testers, and it's hard to find guidance online ~ like a shade map, showing what's cool and neutral etc). ALSO, strange how they have no shades at all between 6.5 and 10 ??! I saw online that number 10 looks light too... so, hmmm!! This is something they could fix ~ make it clearer somehow what is what....
@@MoodyEyeMAKEUP Hi Isa I do all those things in a regular basis but there are still some foundations (eg my beloved Lisa Eldridge foundation) that no matter what I put underneath would dry my skin. I had to give it to someone that had a more normal and younger skin.
@@anadanaya1867 Yeah totally :) I would avoid this one then. For you Face and body radiance from Mac cosmetics would be perfect. Or Hydromaniac from Urban Decay :)
@@MoodyEyeMAKEUP I am wearing the Shiseido SynchroSkin glow fluid foundation and I love it. It is a shear to medium coverage but it melts into my skin and it looks like I am not wearing makeup. I also use the Shiseido primer. For more fancy makeup days I wear the Cle de Peau Natural foundation that is also amazing for hydration and a bit more coverage. Medium very solid!
