Omg yes! I used to love elf because it had some awesome products but now it's just the Americanised mco where every new launch is just them trying to dupe a high end brand! No hate or shade to mco but I can't think how else to put it! Basically if they want to come after mco for being a dupe brand please show that same energy to brands like elf who used to be unique but now are just really dupe brand too (also remember when everyone dragged revolution for duping/coping products?

I discovered the delights of Mco Beauty because of you and Rachel @ Sage Beauty and so happy I tried them out. Love so many of her products and LOVE to support an Aussie brand! My daughter is also now a fan as I bought her the Cheeky Chat lipstick, sunscreen/primer and Fawless Glow - she's hooked. I agree that Mco should not be singled out for duping, they're hardly the only copy-cat in the game! And yes, also totally agree with you, Sam, that the vast majority of people buying Mco are not buying Charlotte Tilbury anyway. I don't feel guilty as I was never a loyal CT customer. I don't own even one of her products. Love your channel, never miss an episode because your content is great - knowledgeable, fair, honest, funny, entertaining and I trust your assessment of beauty products and fragrance. As a Australian 🇦🇺👍 i was pleased that we have a McoBeauty launch in USA....and with the big promo sale on here in Oz, ive bought a heap to try. Ive been impressed with just about everything, especially love the mascara with lash serum and their lipsticks are lovely and creamy. Lip oil is nice start for lips. I haven't tried any skincare as yet.
I'm in the US, and I'm excited to see MCO selling here! Kroger moved out of my state, but our big local chain is owned by them so maybe it will trickle down. My old Kroger used to have a huge beauty section, but we have to go to Target or Walmart now if we want more than ancient Maybelline or Wet n' Wild products with literal dust on them.
MCo Beauty also have some great original products. I love their pimple patches and foot masks. Their favourite palette of mine is The Beauty Edit. It's an oldie of mine but well love with plenty of pan showing and some empties in it too.

Your videos on Australian brands are some of my favourites too. Australian brands are so underrated. I like how you are geared towards Aussie viewers. There's one RU-vidr from Australia (who will remain unnamed) I unsubscribed from because all her videos were aimed at American viewers, American season, and expensive American brands. Nothing in her videos, except her accent, said Australia.
I discovered you through doing a review of DB Cosmetics. Doing reviews of new products, especially Australian brands, is a great way to come to people's notice, I think.
I completely agree with the rare beauty blush comments. No matter how tiny my use is I always ending up with a far too flushed face (flushed as in I just ran to a flight of stairs with a suitcase flush) that in no way looks natural.
The compact is stunning! It reminds me a tiny bit of the teeny weeny Chantecaille blushes hehehe. I don't have a lot of time to spend commenting these days but I had to drop one onto this video to tell you how I love seeing your face in my RU-vid feed :) keep slaying legend
I have two or three Mco products and really like them. Well worth picking up on a Woolies sale. I had a lot of dermatitis issues with my eyes - turned out to be sulfates in foaming cleansers/make up removers. Might be worth a test?
I was getting red rashes and swelling on my top eyelids for a while. I do get dermatitis but not usually there, I think I ended up putting it down to skin care, maybe retinol or something. When I stopped using actives on my eyes it went away. Although, one of the times it was happening, I was getting random hives on my body. Not sure if it was a reaction to stress or something
I don’t buy much makeup up at all, but I love watching makeup videos because I wear makeup nearly every day. I love watching videos of Aussies and also shop my stash videos. And anything drugstore because I don’t buy high end anymore.

Maybe because your hair colour is slightly different it is affecting your tone. My hair is quite dark, but I get highlights and I have to change some of the colours of clothes I wear because of it.
I took JenLuvs (I usually love her content) somewhat to task over her dismissiveness of an Aussie ‘just a dupe brand’ (according to her and MCO make no secret of that ever as we know) being sold at Kroger which is a green grocer. I was congratulating Shelley and the team for breaking into the US market and Jen responded by saying she wasn’t being dismissive and that she was thinking MCO would be shit because their previous poor products popped up in those subscription boxes (I think they’re weird and American RU-vidrs are obsessed with them) 😂.
