NEW Medford Knives | SHOT Show 2020 

Greg Medford is a cool guy. He puts out incredible knives and he's down to Earth. Also, he's not afraid to say what is on his mind.

Greg never stops being an entertainer, I like it. The guy is very self aware, very authentic, genuine... Yeah he's divisive as are his knives but he speaks from the heart and he obviously puts his soul into his product. One day I will own a slim midi marauder. One day.

Never been interested in a Medford, that swift mini (or whatever it was called) though is definitely appealing to me. He's trying to reach a larger audience, well it's working 100%

That Praetorian Swift drop point version looks so damn good. To bad the prices are so damn insane. When it comes down to it you can not justify $525.00 for Aluminum handles and S35VN. There comes a point that after a certain price point, you are not getting any then better than you can get else where.

I am a huge fan of Medford Knives and Greg Medford. The Praetorian Ti is a beast!

Ive never wanted a medford before. Now i wanted every model on that table. Knocked it out of the park medford!

Bean counters who claim knives are too heavy must not carry a firearm. My USMC Fighter Flipper goes in the pocket and I forget it's there.

First time I saw a Medford knife I thought those would be cool to own. Then I saw the price and materials and think this guy is nuts. I mean if you handmade the knives all by yourself..maybe. But then you watch how they make them on his website.

I was one of the MANY that complained about the huge knives he made. That being said, I like what I'm seeing here. I will definitely spend more time at his booth at this year's Blade Show to see how these feel in the hand. Plus, he didn't come across as a D bag in this video. Always a plus there.

Love that fixed blade, but I can already tell you it's not going to be worth the $600 price tag or whatever ridiculous amount they land on for it.

If I can get me some of those stocks everyone is talking about I might be able to afford a medford 1 day.

I was ready to pay 750 for one of his knives. At Blade Show I was playing with all he had there for the first time. My lord I'm glad i didnt buy off the net. So many better knives out there at better prices not to mention his attitude towards customers.

The best advise ever. " never an emergency to put your knife away". And as far as price, no one said you have to buy it. Customs cost big bucks. PERIOD.

I’m not sure I’ve ever cut myself closing a knife. If the lock and/or blade are well-designed, it just shouldn’t happen.

I’m really liking that auto dagger style pocket knife. Idk why and I really don’t need it lol but visually I fucking love the way it looks and I’m going to look into it when it comes out.

make two holes for left hand carry no left handed just add the carry option

I like the designs, but I think I’ll buy a Cold Steel manual or a Kershaw auto before I’ll drop $500 on a Medford. I’ve got a Cold Steel XL Voyager clip point that I’ve put through hell for a decade and it’s still doing work.

I've yet to buy a Medford, but reading the comments, the man himself and his knives are quite polarizing. I'm liking some of these designs, the question seems to be, are they overpriced? I'm willing to pay some decent money for quality knives, I just don't want to feel like I'm being ripped off. I'm leaving this video still on the fence. Please leave me some replies as to why I should or shouldn't buy a Medford. Thanks guys.

I remember like 6 years ago or whenever the Medford Praetorian was the the hottest knife on the planet. They were being resold for upwards of 2000 dollars at the time. Now it seems like most of the comment section thinks this guy sucks and his knives are overpriced, how times change.

Greg is killing it. Slim Midi Tanto and Praetorian Slim.... yesss. shoulder breaker seems like a missed opportunity to be a front-flipper? Nos. is scarrry! Great work this year.

Greg Medford is a conservative and makes no apologies for who he is. He isn't politically correct, and he says things that rub people the wrong way. He is pro-America in his approach to his personal life and to business, a vocal Trump supporter and anti-China when it comes to the knife world. His products have a dedicated core following. If they didn't, his company would have folded a long time ago - capitalism dictates winners and losers. Some of his knives are too large for me, but I like some of the recent "normal" sized offerings.

8:37 Wow that model looks ALOT like an old Benchmade Spike folder I have from the early 90's..Handle has those same exact machines grooves and similar shape.

The Nosferato looks very Harkins Tritoness, but of course an OTS I bought a Medford USMC Flipper for around $800.There is Absolutely nothing like it .it is like the Rolex of knives . I have gotten rid of all my Microtechs,[3]Benchmades,[2].The USMC Flipper is the last knife ill ever want or need.

That slim midi compared to that pro tech size wise is impressive.

For me, it's only auto or flipper. Those are what I have in my pocket. There are so many good quality auto/flipper knives out there for under $150.00, unless you're looking for a custom or "brand name" knife, the $200.00+ knives are just personal preference. It's not like you're using these on a daily basis. I've been using a Kershaw Clash EVERY DAY for the past year with No issues! And I can put a good edge on it in just a couple minutes, for about $30.00 for the knife.

Ummm, $500.00+ for a pocketknife? No thanks.

Dude's super intense but also refreshingly honest.

Of all the shit that this guy takes, he really seems to be a decent dude. He may come across brash at times, but strikes me as somebody who’s strong in his opinion and you’ve got to respect that. Don’t have to agree with it, but it does deserve respect. Also some great changes and evolutions of his knives. Smart move to tweak the Medford “legacy” like knives to open them to a broader market. Get them into the hands of some who wouldn’t have liked them otherwise and start changing some opinions. 👍 Greg.
