Thanks for the comparison. I'm older and I enjoy Snowboarding and wanted to try something similar in the summer. I tried a longboard and it was too fast for me and stopping then became a problem for me. When I saw the E-Longboards and the braking ability, I was sold. I got the V3, paid extra to get it shipped quickly and then it sat inside until the rains quick several weeks later. Waste of money. At any rate, for a beginner, it's scary, the quickness of the acceleration and the deceleration of braking as well and you can get tossed easily. I'm not a big rider and I keep the speed down and the V3 is a great board. I also have bumper guards and front and rear lights. I don't mind going fast on a Snowboard and falling and landing in snow, but landing on the pavement with a Longboard at speed is terrifying to me, so the V3 is enough for me. lol. Woah thank you for the video I've really been thinking about getting a v4 and this video gave me a boost of the board I want to buy, but I do have a long way of saving to go. But the v4 wild make my life easier making if faster to get to school and just all around get places

At 15-20 mph it's already scary but if you crash you can probably be ok. If you crash at 25-29mph you are gonna be completely messed up unless you're wearing real gear. Helmet with a chin guard, elbow and knee pads, and a durable jacket and pants. I've had mine for about a month and I still can't believe that they can sell something that can go this fast. I also own a motorcycle and I mountain bike but this skateboard is the most scary crazy thing I have ever ridden. 29 mph??!!! Insane.

I own the v2 and v3 and I wiped out at least than fifteen on a hard corner and messed myself up bad I usually ride way fast and never had a problem but I will say I had on no gear and was so glad I wasn't going at my usual speeds when I fell

Great video Dru. You know if the new ESC LF-FOC is actually still considered Ling Yi or is it totally different. I thought it was just a newest Ling Yi installed on the Meepo v4

Kieran himself said to treat the new ESC like a new generation of Ling Yi, yes it’s still a Ling yi but they’re using different technology called FOC, so they call it the Ly- FOC respectively. It’s really does feel very different compared to the V3

The NLS pro and V-4 (extended range) are currently the same price. It looks like the NLS has an upgraded controller. Which board do you reccomend- the V4 with Extended Range ($609.00) or the NSL Pro?

My V3 from 2019 died a month ago, and I was fixing it, halfway done I fucked up, and I asked if it really was worth spending more time on a almost 4 year old board. And I came to the conclusion that it was not, so I orded a V4. Have been watching some videos of the V4 to get gassed for it, and I have to say, the quality of this video... WOW. The editing, the pacing. You got it all down. Really the quality of video you except from someone with 500k subs atleast. Keep it up man!

Would you recommend the nls pro or the v4? Also, how long did it take for you to get the board?

So the NLS pro is just a meepo V3 with 100mm wheels and an ER battery, so basically no because it’s still last generation, it took 20 days after getting my tracking number

Great vid. Thanks. Have you found a comfortable stance to make the flares less annoying? What's your shoe size, if I may ask? :) Hope you get the ER for a real life range test! Subscribing to your channel in hopes of seeing it.

If you rotate your foot it can make them more comfortable, my shoe size is 10.5, personally I can ride with the flares all day and I get used to the feeling, but my friends get really annoyed by them

Question: Do you have to buy the 620w motors separately or do they come with the board?

The 620w motors are the V4 motors. The 540w motors are the V3 motors
