I don't know why everyone says that about the AMG 4-pot. My company CLA45S stock absolutely bangs and explodes like a psycho, once you do say 2,000kms after a service or delivery and kill the particulate filter. My last service made it quiet because they redo the filter, but it is now again obnoxious.
As a previous owner of a 2020 C63S Coupe, this new car design & technology takes it to another level. It clearly looks wider, aggressive & sounds so good with a killer high-tech interior. The CLE63 will be even better. I'm seriously looking at how I can afford & order this without the wife knowing. Great video presentation, guys.
@chen2680 In another car video, they indicated that AMG were looking at a CLE63 in 2025 either as a V8 or more horsepower V6. Let's hope that this happens with a V8.
Mercedes knows how to touch my heart. I was so upset with the C63 & now look what they’ve delivered. I wanted a C63 so bad after my current C220d lease ends I might as well bag this baby for 2-3 years😍

For me, this is a C class coupe, regardless the size. I'm not taking away anything from its beauty, I'm just saying in terms of interior design, MB didn't make enough effort to make it qualify as a replacement for the E coupe.

Mercedes ceo should step down he seems to have no clue of what his customers wants like taking the best thing from the c63 which is the v8 and the best thing from the e53 coupe which is the fact it had 0 b pillar. IMO that’s what made the e coupe
Big up to Mercedes Benz. This car looks phenomenal, a brilliant machine par excellence. The sound is not up to V8 standard but not bad, they can improve on that, VW makes a good sound from Golf R with the similar engine, I think they should take example , otherwise this is a very good product with extremely good looks!👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌
Merchandise Benz does not want to admit the fact they messed up with the new C63. Everyone knows that it's a pure waste of money. I think making it a V6 wouldn't have been such a bad idea. But this 2.0 from the A45s was a huge no no in my eyes!
I agree, going straight to 4 pot was a mistake, but I think MB wanted to be a step ahead of the game, so they did something very dicey. Look at Telsa and how they created these electric cars well ahead of these other brands. Sold millions of them, now those other brands are playing catch-up. MB doesn't want to be caught flat-footed again.
Maybe time has come to the point, that AMG should build C63R. Lightened body, R6 3,0 powerplant, no batteries and electric motors, RWD only. Lightness, power, pure gasoline. Like Mustang, but lighter.
Lovely but not a patch on my 2023 911s 992.1. I just got mine delivered after n 18 month wait lol… well worth it! I was told there will be an option to buy a 911 in hybrid form. How can that be right? It’s a 911 not a Macon which is basically a fake Porsche just the badge. No hybrid rubbish in a 911…… so far.
I'd rather stick with my old model, I like it a lot better, just the interior, sensible buttons and not a touch panel. The first thing I noticed were the rims, are they supposed to be nice? Oh yes, and without a V8 it's no longer a real AMG in my opinion.
A nice video, but a pathetic car. A small awkward car, with an non matching exhaust sound, Is your car ugly, make it loud at least. 2 iPads hanging somewhere around the dashboard and rims from the new Smart. The depreciation of the small MB-Cars with AMG-engines is horrendous. That's why most of these cars are leased by young people with low income and no car dealer wants to buy them when they are used and driven mostly ruthless. MB wants to get rid of these small wannabe-cars and the A- and C-Class should be the first to get rid of.
I probably made the mistake to compare this small 4-cyl-Coupé with cars of higher classes (like E-Class-Taxis), but surely I have to compare this tiny car with Smart or other 4-cylinder cars from Nissan, Hyundai, Fiat, Renault etc. Maybe you are right then.
