This trail camera had a malfunction, but I was able to salvage two months of videos. It was mostly snow and wind, with a few critters breaking up the monotony, so I labeled it as ASMR since there isn't a steady stream of wildlife. I have a feeling this spot would be a lot better in the spring and summer. The landowner here says there was bear poop all over the place in front of the camera, but the camera had died by the time the bear arrived. One day I will move out West and be able to camera trap these mountains often. Thank you for watching.

How quickly the weather can change in the spring.

The shadow of the wind blown tree on the snow was beautiful.

In the begining, it was really cool seeing that second coyote walk in the foot prints of the other coyote (or same one twice) It made me think about the prints I see in the snow... I wonder if I have seen multiple sets of prints when I thought I was seeing one! Awesome video, as always! Great content.

Thank you 😀 It’s amazing how quickly they can walk like that and put their feet exactly where the other one did.

Thanks for the kind words. I’m definitely moving out West eventually but it’ll probably be a couple years. Merry Christmas.

Crickey, that was a big dump of unexpected snow after the melt 😮. Great to see the animals in the snow. Thanks Michael.

I've noticed that N NM (especially around Santa Fe) seems to get a big snow storm in mid-February, almost a guarantee. Granted it is high desert at 7000' and above. I love to hear the footsteps of the animals, and the coyote sniffing the big piles, it's so cute and amazing how sensitive the camera is. Thanks for another video!

This was a very enjoyable video. Animals I like to see and changes in the conditions. Day and night, snow and no snow, wind and no wind. Early February to late March. The first animal was the most surprising. I wasn't expecting to see a domestic cat. Thanks.

That first one was a bobcat 🐱 I hope your running training and everything else is going well 👍

@@Michael.Outside Lol. I edited my comment before I posted it. Originally, I said that I first thought it was a cat from the face but had to be a bobcat, because it was too long and muscular for a domestic cat. But then I decided it wasn't muscular enough for a bobcat. One more reason to have a species list. So I won't embarrass myself. 🙂 I procrastinated so long in buying a new car battery, that my running and walking has been off the charts. After all, running gets you to your destination sooner and is easier than walking. (Probably only long-distance runners would agree with that.) Thanks.

In addition to the animals, I liked the “snow ghosts” at 7:10 in the video. Thank you for another interesting video.

Fantastic video Mike, yikes New Mexico get hammered again by another snowstorm. I remember one year a snowstorm like that took out a friend’s exotic bird aviary, thankfully all the birds survived. Enjoyed the video, fantastic content. 👍 👍

Did y'all see they had a grey wolf travel 660 miles and popped up near Cimmarron NM? I thought they were around there. Thought I saw one in Guadulapita NM a few years ago. There are a few packs in Colorado that for some reason CPW doesn't acknowledge.
