Why if I embezzle, steal, cheat, I go to jail, but politicians rarely do. At most, they get "retrained", or just told to stop doing it. Any non-politician would be behind bars.

Every official will and law enforcement officer shall have a malpractice insurance to cover cost to state and local taxpayers for lawsuits. If they get sued and loose enough they cant afford to be in that line of work. Problem solved!
Every state in this country is full of public servants who think they are the rulers instead of servants. The corruption if exposed in every state,county, city, township nation wide would be astounding. But it is the publics fault for allowing these criminals to self regulate, and self police, or self investigate. They think that they are above the public policy statutes that they fully expect the rest of us to obey without exception. The states attorney general in this video shows you the problem of self regulation in this video by his actions (bringing no charges) and his words ( ok boys and girls, straighten up, their on to us) . His lack of action should be considered what it is, dereliction of duty and you should demand their removal from office for violation of their oath.

Well, Commissioner Lyons needs to be charged with each and every "crime" he's committed. To name a few, fraud, forgery, and grand theft come to mind. If he's been accepting his salary while not being legally eligible for it, that money needs to be recouped, also.

so let me get this straight. the commissioner that helps set up electric rates is on the board of directors of a power company? isn't this something of a conflict of interest folks? and then his whole education scam. this guy needs to be arrested and jailed for fraud at the very least and probably theft of public funds,i.e. his pay,which he should not have been receiving without the proper 32 hours education per year.

This is nothing surprising. I went to college this way and gave my self my own grades. I graduated with a 6.90 GPA. I would have had a 7.0 if I didn't give myself a 6.5 in Applied Basketweaving. I also was class Validictorian and salutatorian with Tutto Maximo Summa Cum Laude Honors.
So they’ve committed fraud on multiple accounts, they violated the law specifically relating to collecting their pay after choosing not to attend these classes, and nobody has charge them criminal yet? If this were a regular person not a public servant, they would’ve been charged in a heartbeat. This is why things will never change here. Public servants are not held to the same criminal standards as everyone else.
