NEW GEAR - MGI Navigator Ai GPS+ Buggy
MGI, the world leader in motorised buggy development, introduces their all-new Ai Navigator GPS+. The revolutionary model with an impressive modern design uses new technologies that allow its user to play golf with empowered intelligence.
Designed with an integrated GPS system, Ai Navigator GPS+ connects to more than 40,000 golf courses worldwide via its super responsive, high-resolution 4” full-colour all-weather touchscreen. The clever GPS system displays a clear view of the hole and produces prompt and accurate distances to all parts of the course layout. MGI’s complimentary interactive App, which includes maps and scoring, further enhances the playing experience.
The Ai navigator GPS+ makes it easy to walk the course with the company’s world-acclaimed fully directional handheld remote control providing access to the buggy from over 100 metres away.
The brand’s signature features include MGI’s patented Gyroscope Straight Tracker technology, which keeps the buggy on course across all terrains. In manual mode, the enhanced golf bag carrier offers the user the ability to walk behind the buggy similar to a traditional pushcart without the requirement of a battery. The Topbox contains a function to change the speed of the buggy to best suit the walking pace of the user without the need of a remote control.
Performance features of this five-wheel design model include an adjustable ergonomic T-bar and bag support. Quick release rear wheels with all-terrain tread. An advanced Click & Go Lithium battery system. And, there’s a USB charging port.
Ai Navigator GPS+ may be paired with a wide range of MGI accessories. Such as, travel bag, umbrella holder and extender, wheel covers, scorecard holder, drink bottle holder, to name some.
The intelligent Ai navigator GPS+ offers up to a three-year warranty.

I have about 40 rounds on mine. Love it. Zero issues. So much more fun than pushing a cart.

My wife bought the MGI buggy in 2023 in Canada, $2600.00. Used it for ten games, worked great then it stopped. Took it back to have it repaired, two months ago. They have no parts anywhere in Canada. Just giving you a heads up.

Wow I’ve had my M.G.I. A.T. For 3 seasons in Colorado and play at least 2 times a week and ABSOLUTELY NO Issues. Sorry to hear your bad luck.

Hi, I am in a position to comment on both the MGI Navigator and the Navigator AI+, the first unit ended up in the water due to my stupidity, and its expensive to get them fixed when you live in the bush, so I chose to upgrade to the Ai+ unit. To be honest the newer unit is not the better unit, why? because the battery is in the worst possible place when you need to take it out to charge, the AT version, the battery sat on the back of the unit, very easy off and on. the Ai battery is in the middle of the main support and harder to get to when you need to charge. the folding of the older unit is very very easy, and intuitive, the folding of the Ai is anything but? you have to get all your ducks lined up to get the thing to fold down, then you have to unfold the top bit to get the battery out? I will admit that I only read what I needed to get myself up and running so I have no doubt there are other features that I have not encountered yet, I love being able to just walk the course, where I live most of the golf courses have lots of ups and downs, which as you get older can be troublesome draging a manual buggy up the hills. Both the units handle the different terrain very well, lots of people have commented and asked about them and I was alway honest when giving information, I was dissappointed when the new unit didnt have the advertised “ follow you” feature, which would have been absolutely awesome, but I’m happy with the unit so far, the manual is hard to follow? i have tried a few times to find information about setting the base speed on the Ai unit? its set a 4km/h from factory, but I would like to take that up a bit to save wear and tear on the remote button, having to constantly push the button to get the unit up to walking pace? I also found that taking the wheels off and turning them around was annoying so I only do it if I absolutely have to. the screen on the buggy is nice, but not realy practical? when I play we (wife) usually have the course to ourselves, so mucking about isnt really and issue, but if you were on a mainstream course in some of the bigger cities you may be in for some abuse from following groups if you muck about too much, so I tend not to touch the screen, I use the Golf part of my garmin watch to keep track of scores distances and the like. I dont want to put people off, having one of these buggies is the best thing I have done, makes a round of golf much more enjoyable, I dont like using golf carts, they damage the course, hold things up as people go from one side of the course to the other constantly so i would never go down that road. anyway, hope I helped people with info about the MGI units, like I said at the start, dont make my mistake and have it end up in the water, as that ruins them very quickly, always use the “STOP” button on the buggy to stop accidental activation of the remote when its in your pocket and you arent near the buggy to do anything about it.

Funny when I got my M.G.I. A.T. I heard some of those stories from course employees of idiots driving them into lakes. Hahahaa I personally don’t see how the new battery could be that hard to remove. But it must make the trolly MUCH MORE Stable. And personally you don’t want follow mode. You will be constantly be looking over your shoulder checking on it. I want my clubs in front or me so I can keep an eye on them.

Just a little fact. I own the M.G.I. A.T. And ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. When parked on a hill it doesn’t runaway without the new brake. It just creeps VERY SLOWLY not anywhere near Runaway. Mine is only a couple years old but I REALLY WANT the new G.P.S. Model and I own and love my Sky Caddie SX550.

Are you sure it has follow mode? I just got one and am having trouble figuring that out. I've read online that it does NOT have follow mode anymore.

Great video, will this be the follow version with update in 2024?

It was discussed as the next evolution of the product. All we know at this point is, the timing of that tech and introduction to the MGI AI Navigator Quad is still TBC.

Frustrating as I was going to get one with the follow feature, probably look at the Stewart Q now.

Aside from the remote and gps…isn’t this just the all terrain version?

This model features an all new frame, battery location, folding mechanism as well as the benefit of the GPS. The AT front wheels similar to the ZIP range are a feature yes.

$2k plus... You can get a Golf Board or the like for a little more and you don't have to walk. GPS is a gimmick for a lower handicap player - range finder is the only real option. Most club golfers are too slow - walking, even while using an electrical buggy, is the curse of the Saturday round.

Ridiculous. Did you buy one of these overpriced contraptions and are justifying it? If you have those kinds of obstructions in your way, it's hit and hope - even tour pros find themselves in such positions. If you're good enough to cut the corner on a dogleg, you're good enough to work out a distance without any tech. Try again!

Update. In setting I selected to unpair the remote and then the remote started working. Nfi. Go figure.
