I love Timbaland! The beats are crazy hot! And the album was an extraordinaire! Can't get enough of the original recording to "Xscape". My only critique is wishing production was also helmed by Timbaland's right-wing woman Missy Elliott, noting that she worked with MJ herself in 1999 for the "Invincible" recording sessions.
We have a lot to look forward to everyone! This is only the 2nd album out of a 7 album deal that Sony made with the MJ estate. They made a $250,000,000.00 (two-fitty-milly-yawn) deal to release 7 albums over the course of 10 years. And that won't even be the end of it. They said that they have the potential to release 22-30 albums with all of the stuff Michael recorded but never released. Our grandkids will even be listening to new MJ stuff.
@@TheJkm1969 Those unreleased songs were substandard? Well, damn i got to say they sound pretty damn good for something MJ considered substandard. I still can't enough from Love Never Felt So Good. =3
@@TheJkm1969 like Timbaland said, for this particular project it was something MJ wanted to revisit before the This is It tour. So we can be assured he wanted these out. It’s what comes out after that is dangerous.
I like Timbaland's work in general. I respect him as a producer. But, just like Babyface, he often has to put his own vocals into each song he produces and I'm just grateful he didn't do that with this album. I didn't really like it personally, but I'm grateful he didn't put his vocals into it. It just would sound weird since the music came out so long ago too.
After these 3 years, I wish Timbaland wasn't the producer. Some of the songs sound too Timbaland. I just feel like Love Never Felt So Good was the best because it felt like it was all MJ. Sounded like he made it that way, other songs sound too Timbaland. I would rather have people who know his sound and understand it more and know him personally to produce them.
Wish Timbo really would have really put his floot in this album , i do like the sings he did but mannnI wish he would have dine soke remixes and a couole more songs kust going off . I understand he was respecting MJ but he appreciated creativity at the same time.
Lots of dead artists gave posthumous albums after death bruh. Look at Tupac. Plus artists may OWE the label more albums. So what u think their gonna do?? Gonna go in the vault and put out the damn album
Cimarron Hopper yes he did he actually just reached it not to long ago but when this was released he was just at the point of reaching it not there just yet
