Endpoint Privilege Management is a HUGE step for getting to Standard User accounts without the usual compromises. You can pre-authorize at the process level which ones require local admin privilege, so it's not full local admin with JIT for some period of time. 👍

As others already mentioned, we'd need a table that shows us which Intune feature is available in which product or add-on. Right now there are so many different places where we have to search and often some information is missing, like there's Intune Plan 2 in a table but Intune Plan 1 is missing...

Congrats! The Intune Suite creates a powerful platform for more advanced security capabilities in future. If the recent breaches have taught us anything, it is to never under-estimate ANY device -- whether home PC or work laptop -- as a threat vector that needs to be secured by intelligent and automated tools.

What's really frustrating here is we were just about to get some singular clarity about what Intune is (and isn't) and now here comes Intune Suite, is it Intune? Or is it Intune with paid extras?

Cannot wait to give it a try. I have used AutoElevate for years and Intune Suite looks quite similar to AutoElevate (a very fine product).

Very exciting. One thing, Remote Help. I've been harping on about this for quite some time. It's still not included in A3/A5 Organisations after being promised early last year. With the new features coming I would like to see this implimented.

A quick question though. I see that the demo is showing an instegration with SNI as a ticking solution. Is there a plan to have other ticketing systems (ex: Jira)?

How about certificate management? In Ignite 2022 there was some presentations about simplifying certificate distribution and it was about to be added in the same suite.

Very nice features and extremely useful. Definitely a game changer. Just a shame its additional license cost and not something Microsoft could have just added as an enhancement to existing Intune license. Just another way of making more money out of customers! ☹

Nope, separate license. It's also per user -- so essentially, you'll need to license your entire organization.

This is great. But will we at some point get a user interface for application control. Having to edit policies locally and then upload files is too cumbersome.

Wasn’t Tunnel already available as part of Intune? I’ve used it without any addons over the last few years. Is this now removed and existing setups will stop working until they purchase an addon? Or is this additional functionality on the existing Microsoft Tunnel feature?

Microsoft Tunnel at the device level has been part of Intune. The Intune Suite adds the app-level Tunnel for MAM, where the app package itself has components to make the secure VPN connection without requiring the full device to be enrolled into management.

Let me tell you, some of these features (VPN, Remote Suppoer, Priv. Mgr) are crucial for businesses and basically the reason why would a client choose a specific mangmanet tool.

One thing i didn't get nor i found any informations: Do i have to pre-register all possible applications that will be installed by the users? Because the policy shown leads me to this - and this would be an administrative overkill.

These are some impressive improvements, but paywalling these features behind their own, specific license makes this a no-go for most organizations. Asking companies that have already shelled out for an E5 license for users to now pay an extra 5 to 10 bucks a month PER USER is just ridiculous. Might as well just make an E7 license at this point or something...

Great new features, too bad they are behind a massive paywall; not included in EMS E3 or EMS E5. The huge additional cost will be hard to sell to any company, especially in these times.
