That's insane without zero almost sub 7 run. That's some crazy level of luck and if the pearl to the fortress didn't landed ln lava and many other small factors led this run to not be a sub 7 , it was just 1 second
Mr. Parker I gotta be honest. You're my favorite English RU-vidr. I love your content and i hope you'll do fine with speedruns and i hope you'll still post content, thank you Mr. Parker, you helped
what I love about this run is it's linear like a ranked seed, and happened to go to an amazing ranked player. drip was totally in his element on this seed from start to finish. what a run man
Completely understandable that they didnt go for zero, but this run shows that the sub 6:30 is not only possible but very plausible, because this was a very good seed, dont get me wrong, but wasnt like the craziest seed ever. This makes me confident that with a crazy good seed we will see a sub 5:30 in RSG one day
Yeah, I really like how rek put it as "this seed is very linear", I also thought that it played like an FSG seed (before looting and ocean exposed generation became meta). Like it's not crazy luck or anything, but the fact that all the structures were very close and straightforward and there wasn't any crazy terrain nav (besides pearling into lava once) was very lucky in it of itself. This means pure mechanics gets to shine like it does in FSG, and drip is cracked with the mechanics
That's nice, here's a brownie recipe: - 1 cup unsalted butter - 2 cups granulated sugar - 4 large eggs - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour - 1/2 cup cocoa powder - 1/4 teaspoon salt - 1 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional) Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan. 2. Melt 1 cup butter, mix with 2 cups sugar. 3. Add 4 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla; mix well. 4. Sift in 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup cocoa, and 1/4 tsp salt; stir. 5. Optional: add 1 cup nuts or chocolate chips. 6. Pour into the pan, bake for 25-30 mins. 7. Cool completely, cut into squares, and enjoy your brownies
I remember back in late 2020 and early 2021, the minecraft world record would just non-stop be broken at least weekly. LIke I'd watch a video analysis on the speedrun and by next week there is a new record. Or when reignex and zylenox literally tied the world record. Brentilda with their 9:38 put the end to the weekly record breaking and it took a while for that to be broken.
Rekrap being the best all rounded minecrafter of all time. Bro can PVP, build, speedrun, and parkour. And of course hit people with anvils. Bro can create content about anything and knows how to make a goated commentary about it.
I set a New Year’s resolution to always be able to run a mile faster than the Minecraft world record and it’s barely day 4 and I already have 20 more seconds to shave off 💀
5:45 the coordinates to look at for the double travel are the "Block:", which is -250z, the "XYZ:" will always be off one block in negative coordinates.
2:00 basically what they did here was a technique known as schneller bridging, which is basically really really fast speed bridging where you only tap the shift key lightly. The fact that someone has the skill to pull off such an advanced technique in a speed run is absolutely mindblowing. gg to drip for this beast of a record.
@@myntss Its very very very hard to do consistently. Most people who bridge a lot, i.e hypixel players bridge much slower. It takes a lot of practice and work to bridge that fast consistently, which IMO makes it an advanced technique.
@@myntss I don't know what you're on, but even a year ago I did not see people speedbridging that fast, none of the "sweaty" youtubers were doing that. Now I think it's more popular, but point is that yes it's a niche tech advancement compared to before
Additional info: 6:03 The last stronghold wr was by crookst (5:27) almost 2 years ago. He didn't really scuff the stronghold. Shoutout to the OGs who still remember him
The speed run video showed up on my suggested and I was like, "Parker is definitely going to make a reaction video to this!" And then BOOM 1 hr later- I told you so!
Hey Rek, drip wasn‘t standing on the wrong coords when building the second portal. Ninjabrain doesn’t output the XYZ coords, but the „facing“ and „block“ coordinate. So always look on one of them when building your second portal
@@rudrodeepchatterjee after scouting the seed, blinding into the stronghold and numerous attempts?? this is completely different to "seeing how much drip could have shaved off" because he played the run in a way that isn't possible to do on your first attempt of the seed.
Well deserved drip! It shows that drip is a skilled runner by rekrap saying “the blaze drops are probably the thing that makes the run fast” and then he kills 4 blazes and one drops a rod.
that's the main part, there were also second losses where he hit his head somewhere, but still, insane accurate predictions and movement made up for it. (maybe luck as well)
@@Alexminecrafter1 yeah it’s faster than one cycle, I think the main reason he didn’t do it was because he wasn’t fully confident because of the nerves.
Petition to have rek make a set of videos of him trying to design a mob grinder that grinds every mob (except the bosses and shulkers) and in completely survival.
yo rek i was wondering if you could number your lifesteal videos because i wanna watch them in order but have just been watching them randomly trying to guess.
at 5:41 you were confused about coords, but ninbot shows you coordinates of "Block", not XYZ, so drip was on -250, not -249 (its off by a block for negatives)
The most linear and simple run I've ever seen, like there were just no mistakes except for maybe not going for the zero, I mean that's how such a good seed should be played and he did exactly that. Congrats drip!
Speedrun leaderboard logic: - Using a literal calculator to tell you exactly where the stronghold is: Totally cool. - Using a mod so your game doesn't crash: WOAH NOW BUSTER
I mean Ninbot is just like helping skipping the "math part", but you still have to measure the eye properly by yourself, when it comes to the src rule, there's a whitelist of performance improvement mods to be selected, any unexpected thing that appears in your mod folder will result in the invalidation of the run
