NEW MINIMAL BULLET JOURNAL: how to set up a journal in the middle of the year [Traveler's Notebook]

✚ Hello friends! My Nuuna journal will be full by the end of October, so in this video I'm setting up my new bullet journal. I've been searching desperately for inspiration for this new journal online, but I couldn't seem to find any content that mix "traditional" bullet journal spreads with a Traveler's Company Traveler's Notebook and inserts.

✚ What is a Traveler's Notebook?
A TN is a cover (often leather or faux leather) with a system of elastic bands to hold notebooks inside. The Traveler's Company's TN is probably the most famous system. TC is a Japanese brand (former company name is Midori, which is why you'll see many call the inserts Midori inserts). The official TN comes in two sizes: standard and passport. The one I use in this video is a standard size.

FINALLY!!!! I, like you, have searched RU-vid looking for BUJO vids for the Travelers Company standard size notebook. Thanks for making this vid. I’ve never had a BUJO and wanted to start simple and minimalistic. You did a wonderful job setting up the bullet journal in a travelers notebook! Now I will have something to use as a guide when I set mine up this weekend. 👏🏼👍🏼🙃

I'm excited! I just ordered it today, after seeing one at a friend's house a couple weeks ago and thinking about it ever since. It just feels right for my preferences/style, like bullet journaling just felt (and is proving to be) right for my preferences/style. you're not only highly talented, but your vids are strangely calming. i don't bullet journal. i just write in a journal where I occasionally dabble with other media. however, I do love page layout and your future log in the beginning is functional, simple but oh so beautiful. it's inspired me to create my first future log based on your layout! oftentimes, minimalism can come across as sterile or boring. you bring out beauty in simplicity.

Looks great! Good idea putting everything in different books - I originally started bullet journaling in a TN. Also I have that gingko leaf washi - I’ve seen those trees turn yellow like that 😊

Omg I love this. Honestly. I've been thinking about migrating to a traveler's notebook for so long but I just couldn't find proper inspiration. Thank you for sharing your TN setup. I'm new to bullet journaling. I had plans & visions that didn't work out as I don't draw & my handwriting/printing is atrocious. I will say am working on it but spending over 60+ yrs writing badly isn't easy to correct. I gave up after the mess in my a5, but it led me to junk journaling as I can rip paper & glue having fun as a kindergartener. Seriously that's my journey but now am writing in a standard size TN in December and looking to set up another book in it possibly as tracker, some goals and planner. You've given me some ideas & I enjoyed watching you set yours up. Best wishes for 2020!

Ahhhh, I missed the message but to say it with Walters words "RAWR! You go girl!" I love Walter, I want to see him in every video now! I am sad about the series tracker, the previous one was so awesome. The expense tracker gives me stomache pains 😂 I respect you from the bottom of my heart that you keep track of that. I am truly sad you are reading Harry Potter now and not with us, but I hope you have a lot of fun, the Book club will have your back if you need us. I worried at first that the video would be too long. But it's perfect. I forgot the time watching it. So I mention, I love Walter. Next time he needs to be on the thumbnail XD

I really like it too!❤️ It’s called “Faster Car” by Loving Caliber. This is the acoustic version. You can find it on Spotify and Apple Music. I use Epidemic Sound to find and use music for my videos in a legal way 😉

Hi! I’m sorry to hear that. I always make my videos using speakers so I can hear what it sounds like “out loud”, so I’m not sure how that happened. I’ll take it to heart and make sure it doesn’t happen again :)
