To answer your lore related points. The actual lore of the angmar wars actually barely involves arnor. Arnor essentially becomes the geographic place where the witch king and an alliance of riv loth and minas tirith duke it out. The arnor bit of it actually gets pretty much wiped out immediately. So to speculate on legions, the defenders of fornost could be the arnor one, but id expect the 'big' good one to be the host of the west with earnur, glorfindel minas tirith and riv, maybe with something for arathorn thrown in appendices style

I know I said this for the Last Alliance of Newbs and Men video, but the speed and gusto with which you guys put out this video is impressive and shows your dedication to the community and the hobby!

If you use a Royal Rohan Guard as a basis (F4 D6, Tspear, Fearless) that is 17pts, so I would expect 16 or 17pts and not as low as 14 (+5 for horse, +1 for war spear). maybe it could be 15pts but I think 16 sounds right to me, given the low courage. As for lore at this time and interesting stuff that could be involved, Arvedui was in possession of 2 Palantir and the ring of barahir so the LL could focus on empowering him to give Arnor an actual hero. Cirdan and Glorfindel were indeed about at this time. There was also at the same-ish time a war between Gondor and Khand/Harad that prevented Gondor aiding Arnor, leading to the fall, this could be an area to make an LL using King of Men Gondor and Khand/Harad combo. Also Glorfindel teamed up with Gondor after the fall of Arnor to destroy the WK, so that is another LL that could be explored (Riv+Gondor). Honestly a good place to start with and where I bet GW is getting at least some of their ideas is the BFME2 expansion, as it covers this entire era.

One legendary legion I'd like to see is the Sacking of Angmar where Earnur (King of Gondor) and Glorfindel defeated the Witch King

Female Arnor hero. Potentially arvenduis wife. Or something like that. That's what I've been suggesting for a fair while.

I think it will be similar to Dale or erebor reclaimed. New heroes that change the timeline of when you play Arnor. I think the cav will be 14 or 15 points as well. MT knights are very similar starting at 13 points with one less fight, one more courage and no shield after all.

Due to the very marked WHO in the text, I predict that we are seeing an Anorian Knight hero. I speculate that it will be a new character :) I do not believe that the Arnor captain will be mounted, because Arnor as an army and thematic choice, is not exactly a force know for its cavalry. It would also change the classical Arnor playstyle, and I don't think this is about changing it, but adding to it :)

I rekon it'll be a New Arnor character. Possibly Aranarth (Averduii's son) or a G.W created character (somthing along the lines of Hurin like character)

Ofcourse plastics of other arnor will come back, because peeps needs to collect armies

I reckon they’ll be 15/16pts personally they have the hatred, the king and malbeth buffs make them a good deal at either of those points levels and they bring so much to the army I’d be amazed at 14pts

you give the arnor legendary legion glorfindel and maybe some rivendell, also where is my defenders of lothlorien legion if they get released in pairs

You have to remember that the Easterling cataphract has an Armored Horse. And for some reason +1d on a horse makes the model 2-3 points more expensiv 😂

With the teaser - I’d rather we got a warrior pack like we got with the Easterling black dragons (which included a banner option) then just a re release of the old metal arbor infantry. I hope we see some mix of high elves and arnor for LL’s. Glorfindel Cirdan and Elrond all fight in the wars with Angmar so would be cool to see what they do with that.

Anárion was the high king of Arnor, so it is definitely possible that it could be him. Maybe he can be used in both lists, and be a hero of legend in Arnor.
