Hey guys! Today I'm sharing with you a gift basket I put together for my friend Amy, who is expecting baby #5 any day now! I believe that the postpartum period is SO important, and taking care of the mama so she can take care of the baby is often forgotten. Pregnancy and birth, welcoming a new little life into the world, is incredible and HARD. I hope my little pampering package will help my friend feel loved and supported!

I just started a baby and mama gemach (translation from hebrew is literally lovingkindness :)) - and now trying to get our community to come together to help. I am really trying to emphasize helping mamas - this came at the perfect time and your ideas helped me so much!

Ashley- I am a mama of one 2 year old little boy and have been watching you for awhile. I hope you and your family are doing well and staying healthy. This video was so helpful for me . I'm due any day with our 5th little blessing too :-) I like to do a special gift for my Mamas friends that is very similar to your one. Realky loving the personalised scripture diary! With my 1st someone gifted me one so I've taken on the 'tradition'. And I add a small candy for the dad, lol. It can be hard for them to feel 'helpless' and watch their wife in pain. Love your video ideas!

I agree - give the mom a couple of things, give her some attention, listen to her and let her know that you still value her as a human being. That bottle is amazing. I have a tube of lip balm in the pocket of each jacket, in both my purses and in the entrance hall and for the life of me, there's never one when I need it!

True but this is geared towards post partum specifically, so this comment was unnecessary. And I’ve been both postpartum and adoptive mom. Yes both is hard and exhausting, The needs are DEFINITELY different. Not everything has to be so inclusive of everyone geez.
