AWESOME! I’m glad to see you carrying other instruments now, for when I’m ready to upgrade those! I hope I can make a pilgrimage out there some day, even if only to window shop! (and maybe I’ll be lucky enough to run into Nick D’Virgilio!)
All the employees I've met or seen working there, are very happy and content. The amount of services they have for employees is incredible. I agree, it would be a dream job. I can't wait to see the new music store. GearFest 2022 hopefully!
@@RobertKeeleyTV the store is impressive, but the campus is mind blowing to me. Its like the google headquarters of the music world. Being around all that gear all day long and getting to hear all those fantastic pieces of equipment would be a cool job in itself, but for me, the thing i respect the most about Sweetwater is there morality. They give back so much to their community, and its the only big business that i can think of that would rather help someone make the right purchase discussion for their personal needs over trying to up-sale that person on a more expensive item to make more money. They just seem like a legitimately good hearted business.
@@RobertKeeleyTV i just noticed your name in your reply. Lol. Just wanted to say im a big fan of ur work. Your an amazing pedal builder and circuit wizard.
I probably got a hand in that myself, back when we all got tge covid unemployment,i made more than actually working,i put all my extra money in sweet waters bank account for them to hold...so my wife thinks, lol
My daughter and I were there last Friday (the day this video was posted) and Saturday. It is absolutely amazing! This video shows the retail store, but that's only part of what's there. You have to see it to believe it! I ended up buying another acoustic guitar and preamp/effects pedal, and my daughter bought a bass. If you're at all into playing music you HAVE to visit Sweetwater!
omg, this is insane. The ability to not only see, touch, and hear gear is taken to the next level with the comparison stations you have set up. Everything wired and ready to go to, insane! Would love to check it out.
No where on the planet is more dedicated to displaying and selling musical instruments and gear! There’s heaven, and then there’s this. Nothing in between. Never thought I’d say this but Indiana here I come!
I rerouted my vacation drive to visit the store last week. It is indeed amazing. Everyone there is extremely friendly and helpful. I was even able to chat with my sales engineer in person!
As a lefty guitar/bass player, I appreciate that I saw an acoustic guitar and a bass guitar lefty in those rooms. I purchased a 7-string Schdcter from Keaton at sweetwater and its so cool having vendors with a decent lefty selection as I feel left out a lot of the time at guitar stores.
I'm so glad I finally got to make the trip to Sweetwater. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time. The place is amazing and every musician should make the trip. I'm happy my wife took the time to go with and have this experience with me because music has always been such a big part of my life. Another good memory to add to our life! Thanks Jared Kalish for taking the time to give us the tour!
I’ve been there in 2020 and I’ll never forget it!!! It was awesome!!! I did have one question though: sure it’s big enough, but where’s the roller coaster? 😊😊😂😂
I've been to Sweetwater a few times and it is by far the best music store I've ever seen and that includes anything on Hollywood Blvd. I attended Gearfest in person and camped out, the whole thing a few years ago. The campus is truly AMAZING, the classes and instruction are great, the amphitheater is great too. It is obvious that this place has a lot of love behind it.
I only ever been once. And it was like walking into Heaven. It’s unlike anything else I ever seen before, music store wise. We got a tour from our Sweetwater Sales Engineer, Nate Burkhardt. We even met the one, the only, Nick D’Virgilio!!!! NDV!!!! He gave me a signed vinyl record copy of Invisible, one of the best albums I ever listened to!!!!!
Looks gorgeous. I purchase about 85% of my Gear there. Every-time that I shop = Knowledgable staff & Great service. Mitch & Don Rock. I love when they do product Demo's together. oNe LovE from NYC
Just purchased my 3rd guitar from Sweetwater , Austin & the Sweetwater crew have been a pleasure to work with. A beautiful facility with a professional, friendly staff .
My aunt is a Loyal and Faithful customer. She swears by you guys and it all started with her sales expert, a few years back she said that he was respectful and very understanding. Thank you for treating her with respect.
In a day where Guitar Center retail stores and especially drum shop in general are in a serious DECLINE, this could be an opportunity to step in and take over and do things the RIGHT way! I could see 10 retail stores strategically placed across the US working out very well!
This man has a talent for representing a business. You really get excited when he starts talking. He is very enthusiastic and energetic, a real sales man 👌🏻
I’ve been a guitar center customer for a decade. This is incredible! This is the ultimate musician’s candy store. My goodness! I’m currently waiting on a preordered guitar through y’all. I am blown away!
Amazing, Mitch. My wife and I stopped in there in August 2021 and were pretty much blown away by your new store. We visited your old store (at the same location on US-30) about 3 years ago, and we thought it was great. WOW! We love what you've done with the place.
I mean they've got the money to throw around and it's on their campus...but I'm just stoked to see a new physical business location opening up after everything that has been going on the last year or two!
I use to get the Sweetwater catalog. So I've known about the store for a long time. I recently found out through videos like this one that it's the largest music store in the country. It has now been a goal of mine to visti. Fortunately I live in Indiana. Great video.
I have been buying from Sweetwater for over 10 years. They are second to none. If you ever have a problem with your order (rarely happens) their Service Department is always there to help. They do fantastic work and treat you like a person and not a number. Everything is guaranteed. The bag of "Candy" they put in your order is a nice touch. Check them out!!!!!!
Forget Guitar Center and Amazon. I buy from Sweetwater! They sent me a replacement Focusrite unit before I even mailed back the faulty one. Try that anywhere else.
My guitar teacher (Tim Dunn) took his students to Sweetwater in '83 or '84 when it was basically a small garage studio! We listened to Chuck play samples on Kurzweil synths.
That is so awesome God I love Sweetwater how the hell could you not great company I really wish I lived in Fort Wayne Indiana I’d be in a place all day!!! 😎🤘👍
Nice tour Mitch but I gotta say the video doesn't do it justice. My sales engineer, Alex Campos, took me on a full blown guided tour. This place is phenomenal in person. The Cafe food wasn't bad either. I haven't been there since the remodel so looking forward to a trip soon. If any of you are planning a trip there, plan on most of the day, you'll need it!
Ah, that MOST everything else is online. What's the fun of having a huge online store if there isn't a physical location to go with it? It would definitely be worth the trip--and the fact that instore sales reps know what they're talking about!
WOW! You guys need to bring one of these stores to Las Vegas! I have the perfect spot for you to put it in. The now defunct Frys store on the Las Vegas strip. It looks absolutely stunning! If you guys keep the great customer service you are known for, you will give Guitar Center a heart attack!
This is so cool!! I’m definitely going to make the trip up there sometime. I think someone compared this campus to a Disney World for musicians and they are dead on with that.
Absolutely insane!!!! Wow. Have to say not only do I get my drum gear there…I’ve been there myself to checkout that massive music playground. Now I have to go back to check out this new add on!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Sweetwater stores are one of the best base in my experience, feasible before buying and after in case you have any problems they fix it. Prices are good, one time I had an issue and they took care of it, I'll definitely buy from them again.
This looks incredible! They actually care about music and musicians! I used to work for Guitar Center in 2005 before it got sold and it was one of the best jobs I’ve ever had. It’s such a shame seeing how much they’ve gone down the toilet. Glad to see Sweetwater knew what to do with their music stores! Of course, I love all the mom and pop shops too!
Great store and great job by the best person to make this video. The only negative is...Only One Store, so, those that distance prohibits taking advantage of this, well, we're out of luck when it comes to visiting this new store and all its benefits. For us, it's like nothing's changed so we just keep doing what we need to from the website.
