One thing you do that some streamers don't- when you make a mistake you admit it and explain it. I really appreciate that. I watch this channel not only for deck ideas but because I actually learn A LOT about thinking through turns and choosing lines of play during your videos. The fact that you explain your mistakes makes a video that much more informative. You've become can't-miss MtGA content for me. Thanks man! Whenever I'm pondering whether to scry away cards I might need later in order to ensure land drops, your voice literally always pops into my head: "Gotta make sure to hit my land drops". Ran this deck in a couple of standard events, great fun!

I gotta say, I always love your content and I actually think you've made me like blue/white control too - especially over RDW. RDW is the worst, and it always pleases me to see how you overcome it even when it doesn't look like you're in a good spot with just really good plays, and knowing what to expect and what is a bigger threat. I also really appreciate when you explain various things, like why you're doing something or not doing something and what you're digging for and all the humour on top. Keep up the great work!

I don't know if it's your type of deck (I'm certain it isn't), but I don't exactly know what to do with the list since I'm not a huge fan of trying to rank up but it has been promising in BO1. It might be Cling to Dust, Grafdigger's Cage (though that card shuts off ~1/6th of the main, it wrecks RB Sacrifice hard and buys a lot of time in the Gyruda matchup if you can protect it), Soul-Guide Lantern, Legion's End, maybe even Ashiok if you're willing to give up Lurrus in the matchups where you need it. The Swamp is specifically to come in with Cry of the Carnarium against the tiny aggro/aristocrats decks (especially RB Sacrifice) since 21 Lands is fine with the main deck, but isn't so fine when you want to consistently hit 2 black sources out of a base ~10.5 total on turn three against a deck that's pressuring hard with Cats and the like. Lurrus might seem like a weird fit for this deck, but it's mostly there to rebuy threats, Dead Weight, and Omen of the Sea after sac'ing it in a similar vein to how Modern Delver is using it with Sprite Dragon, Delver of Secrets, Snapcaster (on occasion), and Mishra's Bauble. This deck typically wins off the back of protecting a Sprite Dragon with 8 main deck counterspells and backup from removal spells and Dreadhorde Arcanist recasting early Opts and Shocks to grow Sprite Dragon quickly. I haven't been playing ranked, honestly, but in BO1 I've started with 12-2 and am continuing testing. I had a prior version that cut a Mystical Dispute, Opt, and Scorching Dragonfire for a third Skewer the Critics, second Call of the Death-Dwellers, and fourth Omen of the Sea, but that version of the deck was slightly worse (9-4 before the change). There's a lot of room for pushing numbers around, but it's a fun tempo archetype with a solid mid-game plan with Lurrus.

In case of which: Two Princes, which I agree is a fun song, is by Spin Doctors. The Finn brothers (Tim and Neil, right?) were Crowded House. I don't know whether they were secretly also doctors.

Nice video and nice deck, a couple of month ago I started with self-made Esper, switched to a self-made Azorius, I tried Yorion but not as companion... this list cracked Yorion. Is fun to play and very stable. In general only fires is a real challenge... other decks the % is well above 50%. In the next future I'd like to try thassa, but maybe is a bit unnecessary overkill... or thassa intervention. The most beautiful aspect of the deck is that against skilled players with control o fires decks... you may either win or loose... but really enjoy the magic.

-2: Draw a card, then you MAY discard a card... I think I even saw the "Decline" Option appears on screen when CGB used Narset's -2. Am I right?

Love! Narset is amazing, made a 4 color Yorion deck. I love having Archon of suns grace in it. Makes for some annoying triggers when Yorion hits the field

Scorching dragonfire and sharknado did help me a lot, don't have 4 narset so they fill the holes nicely.

That’s right, it was indeed the Fin Doctors, the lyric you were missing however was “princes who adore you.”

Question: How come decks running Yorion never run additional copies in the main deck? It seems like they usually build around the flicker ability anyway, so why not get extra value by adding 1 or 2 more in the deck? A control build like this seems like it could use a few as a 4/5 flying finisher anyway...

Finally been waiting to see some more jeskai control, although this is more of an azorius splash red.

I made this last night and am loving it. However I swapped the absorbs for Neutralizes. Seem to work much better with the Beacons.

These are the sort of games that make me want to boot up magic again, as supposed to say: mono red, mono red, fires, and mono red.

I put this deck in the same category as my Stasis + Wilderness Reclamation + Kismet + Black Vice deck (everything ETBs tapped, only you untap lands, and opponents slowly die to pings as their hands fill up with cards they cannot play because they no longer have the ability to generate mana) EDH deck. Yes, you will win most games, but you will feel like a scumbag, make everybody you encounter hate you, and take FOREVER to play every game. Also, you can't play it in paper because you will get banned (or everybody in your EDH game agrees to nuke you from orbit before you render the game unplayable.

You probably know it but you can decline to discard with narset. Not dealing damage but it still makes her a nice draw engine. I noticed it way to late so that's why i'm saying it ;)
