The rasengan being a representation of the love Minato and Kushina have for each other turns even sweeter the fact that it was Naruto who completed the jutsu.
@@godofwind200Bruh.. no. That’s not how things work. If your dad writes a book but then your mom names the book that doesn’t make the book your brother 🤦🏽♂️
@@Zoruk_have you read the recent boruto chapters? The southern of Naruto took control of the series and fired the old writer, time skip happens August 20
@@weissschnee3539 yes I'm aware and I think most people do too which is why the one shot is receiving so much attention. Just the difference between the art style and storytelling makes it look like a completely different manga. No offense to the current Boruto writers, however they're just not him.
@@serenadesilhoutKishimoto is actually in charge of the story in Boruto. I remember it was first by Kodachi and Ikemoto but halfway gave it to Kishimoto and Kodachi because it wasn’t doing too well
@@vodril.official Well that's what I'm referring to. The majority of Boruto just meanders around with zero stakes and no conflict. It doesn't matter if someone can copy the art style of a mangaka, the attention to detail is what separates the mediocre from the great.
@@weissschnee3539Man how do y’all get this wrong. He still created it, the movie was a script written by him, and the first arc of the manga is based on his script with barely any changes.
Nah, let the series die so we can move on. We already have Naruto 2.0 (boruto) for a while now, we don't another generation of uninspired story of them.
Bro anything is better than boruto at this point, i’d even rather watch the 7 deadly frames than sit thru another episode or manga chapter of that garbage 😭
Didn't shock me. Kishimoto put up a poll some time ago on everyone's favorite character, promising a one-shot on the winner. Minato won. I was awaitig this actually.
This video evoked deep emotions within me. At the age of 23, I reminisce about my formative years, during which I avidly followed the entire Naruto series. Each episode brought me immense anticipation and a profound connection to the bond between characters including Minato and Kushina. As I watched, a nostalgic yet heartwarming ache would envelop me, a testament to the impact of this series on my life. Naruto has held a significant place in my journey, and I often reflect on how today's kids, who binge-watch it, may not fully comprehend the unique joy of growing up alongside such a remarkable work of art. Thank you Kishimoto.
I still want Obito full story. There are potential plots like when he controlled Hidden Mist as de facto Mizukage, how he learned that Rin committed suicide, what he did on the 15+ years behind the scenes as true leader of Akatsuki, and more. Uzumaki clan, Hashirama as first Hokage, and Sakumo background story are also good materials to narrate.
He absolutely deserves his own spin off. He has been impacting the story so much off screen, and we would have gotten more scenes of him just witnessing the world’s tragedies, more of his inner dialouge, with this more people would finally be able to see that his character isn’t all about Rin, cause so many people misunderstand him.
Yeah it was actually stated on manga that Obito was controlling Mizukage of the village Hidden in the Mist through Genjutsu Remember when Obito revealed his face to kisame and he was surprised to see him and smiled and also said that "Oh it was you afterall"
It felt nostalgic to look at the Naruto logo again. Never thought I'd see it again. But it also leaves me yearning for more naruto than boruto for some reason. It was nice seeing Kushina struggle being a Jinchuriki, as we know they've only been used as a weapon. It's regrettable Naruto never learned anything of his own clan, wish we could see him use such techniques. Honestly, for so-called scary existence, Kurama was weak so easily in boruto lol. We probably got more romance in this One-Shot than naruto/hinata
I just wish Kishimoto had explored the history of the Naruto world first before making Boruto. He could have made a show on each Hokage starting with Minato and going back all the way to the 1st Hokage. We would have been able to understand the history of the Uzumaki clan and many others 😔
I think konan for what she was, was a pretty strong female character. Idk theirs not that many in anime for strong female representation if you count the saipan girls in db super, mikasa from aot, yoruichi from bleach forget orihime she's literally a background character she didn't start doing something until fullbringer where all of a sudden her fear of fighting was gone
@@junedahmedgaming6977he isn’t wrong is he, boruto doesn’t nearly have the depth that minato’s one shot had plus the story was actually compelling unlike what ever the fuck is happening in boruto.
Boruto is way too nice to the new generation compared to the old generation who had to risk their lives getting to the chunin exams. How come we couldn't get shikamaru training asuma's daughter passing the lighter to her when he knows that she is ready, konohamaru on assigned to his first team boruto, sarada mitsuki and had to deal with a threat on the level or bigger than zabuza and Haku, and since he's a sensei now and we see stuff that we haven't seen from shippuden from him maybe a transformation different from naruto's sage mode and when that big threat edges him to take that form we get a backstory on how he was able to master that form something like that. More of the hyuga clan maybe a neji like character who was inspired by neji but despised the Uzumaki family for letting him die. Have himiwari be a genius like her uncle and ranks up to be in the same league as her brother and than after going through dangerous obstacles and facing other teams to steal scrolls and whatnot heading to the chunin exams and naruto the 7th hockage welcoming the ones that passed through idk maybe 4th or 5th round have the neji look alike who despised the Uzumaki face off himiwari and show us how well the hyuga have progressed over the years but the neji lookalike ticks off boruto on how much he despises them while himiwari is taking hit after hit and naruto remembering what he did for hinata which could be a little weird cuz it's brother and sister but I look at it as a brother stepping up for his little sister we did get something like that in shippuden when sasuke captured bee and riakage found out and wanted payback. Something that doesn't just leads to just plain fillers almost the whole series.
Minato and Kushina are just so wholesome and pure! the chapter was precious, I think Kishimoto should take this path of writing things that already happen, like I would love to see more Minato and Kushina moments, more of young Tobirama, Hashirama & Kakuzu fight. this chapter gave me Naruto vibes unlike boruto so I think he should keep this stuff up.
Honestly there are way too many scenes in the Anime and in the games where they made Kushina look abusive :( I really struggle to love their relationship even though they are great in the manga (well in the few flashbacks we ever got)
@@ducklingscap897 just don't take the scenes from the video games as canon, for some reason Japanese like to write women that are aggressive and call it "strong", the canon Kushina is perfect, sweet ,loving ,strong and confidant and a lot of it is thanks to Minato.
necessarily tobirama stuff! kishi showed 0 of his day's in the naruto world, i always found that character pretty interesting due his water based jutsus and his temper towards the uchiha. The only thing that has been truly revealed is that he sacrificed himself to rescue the group of danzo and the 3rd.
Honestly I would have loved a full length prequel series about Minato and Kushina, but I'm glad they got something more than flashbacks. Would have preferred this from the beginning than Boruto.
I am led to believe that the reason there was so many fillers in Naruto shippuden, was because the sound village was involved in multiple scenes. The sound village used science fiction properties but in it scenes which the governments later realized, that if that science is tested in RL there could have some truth and prove relatively ground breaking in actual science. Truth is, sound and the energy surrounding is proven to be efficient. Although there is some truth to this conspiracy it would explain a lot about the disappearance of the village hidden in the sound.
Minato, madara and Hashirama has enough screen time. Sakumo hatake NEEDS a side story. How he became legendary and what happened to make the whole village hate him to the point of suicide
Ahhh the mfkn GOAT. Namikaza Minato!!! I love love love this one shot. I hate the direction they went in after shippuden. This ones for all of us who stopped watching after shippuden, long awaited and didn’t disappoint.
I strongly hope years after boruto end MK will comes out and announce the equivalent of dbs but for naruto (the true sequel wrote by the og author) , and declare that boruto is non canon/happened in alternate universe. This one shot manga here prove that MK can still cook, so i have a big hope he continue to follow Akira step and eventually make the true sequel to Naruto.
Same, but it would likely take close to a decade or more after Boruto ends. Highly doubt that shueisha/shonen jump will be done with the Naruto franchise after Boruto.
@@MyNindo2000 yeah, just like db i don't think they will let this franchise rest in peace, so might as well take a page out of db. I want for kurama to stay alive and naruto actually maintain his status as " The choosen one " of his era, instead of a big fillers for the " Real " choosen one.
