The palette is pretty. If you're a gold lover, it's definitely worth it. There are a few shades that appear similar. It's still very pretty, and your looks came out beautifully! ❤

Thanks Ashley! Yup I agree with you! I almost feel like she could've gotten away with just a 12 pan palette! But it is very pretty and I like these types of shades 😚

Both looks are beautiful, especially the lighter one. I’d wear that anywhere. I have the Gold and Star palettes so I don’t need Golden. But I’d like to try the Mini Gold and the Mini Star palettes with these beige/browns of the Golden. Fun!

Hey Lisa 🤗! Thank you! Seems like a lot of people are liking the second, softer eye look! I’m kinda surprised…in a good way of course. Oooo I want the mini star palette so bad, I’m sure I’ll get my hands on it sometime this year 😆! I have the mini gold palette and it’s one of my favorites 💖! I agree with you, mixing them would be beautiful!

Carrie, I have almost every ND palette made and I customize my own colorstories with them, so this is a purchase for me. I will wait for a 20% off at Ulta and get it, ND is my favorite brand. The 2nd look is one of the best I have seen with this palette, very simple but elegant. I have seen a lot of creators say they like the original gold, but they didn't buy it 😂, and complain about the new colorstory. I have so many different brands mainstream and indie, but ND has reigns supreme to me, it is what I use the most and have many pans. I do mix my indie shimmers with ND mattes. If people can't fit this in their budget, I say wait till the Sidney Grace Christmas in July sale, SG has an amazing matte formula.

Yeah It’s really not fair to compare the original Gold palette to this one if you don’t own it 🤪! I have seen some people wish there was a purple or blue in the new Golden version. Well it’s new to me and I’m really enjoying this palette, I’ve used it 3x now! ND is starting to become one of my favorites! Like you, I rearrange the shades! Thanks for the heads up on Sidney Grace! 😊

Both are beautiful but I really like the lighter one. The cream to powder I think works great on crepe eye lids easier to blend going to powder gives it the lasting quality of powder eyeshadows. I do know the creme eyeshadows on my eyes do not last even if they say long wearing. They are easier to apply. I have never tested out the cream to powder eyeshadows to see if I get the benefits of easy application but the lasting effect of a powder eyeshadow. Thanks for the tip on tones and how two shadows might look the same when applied. 😊

Hi Patricia! A lot of people like the lighter look too! Oh that is a good point about cream to powder shadows! I didn't realize that on some skin textures it's easier to apply. Thank you for explaining that! ☺

Hey Carrie! Your eye looks are gorgeous as always! I love neutrals & love the ND Golden Palette color story, but I really don't like the ND eyeshadow formula. The mattes are pretty good, but the shimmers always seem lackluster, dull or muddy when I've worked with them. So definitely looking forward to your duping and/or comparison shades that are hopefully way more impactful than the ND ones. Enjoy the weekend! ☀

Hey Michelina 😊! Thank you!! Your comment is a prime example why i take recommendations from “influencers” with a grain of salt. I love ND formula but you don’t prefer it! What’s good for one might not be good for another! I’m in the process of editing a Colourpop dupe for this palette! Should be up this week! I think you will be pleasantly surprised, I know I was ☺️💕!

Beautiful looks!!! I have the Gold palette. If you have UD Naked Honey, you have the color story. Obviously the formulas are different. The Sigma Ambiance palette is close as well.
