New NeoJamma MV1C Supergun for Consolizing MVS Neo Geo in Acrylic Case! Step by Step Install

In this video I install the MV1C supergun by NeoJamma designed to consolize the neo geo MVS board in the Lions3 acrylic case. Ive always liked this acrylic case and planned on designing 3d prints to house a supergun in this case.... When I stumbled on NeoJamma's kit already designed to consolize the MV1C in this case I had to build one.
In the next video I will give the MV1C a full scrubdown and recap replacing all the electrolytic capacitors, install a new battery holder by NeoJamma, and pull audio from the board to supply the supergun kit.

@@bloqbeta yes. I’ve completed my build. There was an extra modification I had to do get select to insert coin but otherwise exactly as described.

fun fact: you can tape the jamma port down with painters tape to make sure it stays flush with the board

I did kind of the same for mine but with black painted plywood. I added a switch in front to launch the system.

Nice! I might cut some acrylic side plates or 3d print some, I kinda want to enclose it completely but it will have to wait, im recapping a 27" sony crt now

I agree, it would be nice to have side panels. Im thinking about 3d printing some side plates or maybe cut some acrylic.

Great video ! I was wondering why you didn't choose to do like the Open MVS from TaiToc Labs ? I have a MV1C too, don't know really which option to choose...

I almost went the open mvs route but really liked the lions case and then seen this kit and thought it would be a fun build. I will be digging back into this soon for video #3 and a new unibios option , and thinking about reshelling in an aliexpress acrylic case. The lions is cool but a dust magnet and dont really like the open sides. I wish there was an abs injected shell option that looked like an aes

I did my own DIY MV1C consolization a few years back. This Neo Jamma kit and the Lions3 Top/Bottom Plate kit look like an awesome upgrade for my board one day. Any idea what site will be selling this kit and when it releases? I want to keep my eye out for it. Thanks in advance and great vid!

What I did is contacted NeoJamma directly on twitter. He has his original supergun for sale on ebay but for this lions3 kit its best to just send him a message for the time being. Thanks for watching!
