I think people get slightly confused as it the conditioner comes in a jar but it is not a deep conditioner it's a regular conditioner. Anyway your hair looked very nice.
I’ve had a horrible relationship with Carol’s daughter conditioner making my hair feel like a cobweb I may on a whim try this type or maybe not I’m glad it worked out well for you 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Thank you! I agree - I am going to use Carol's Daughter products as well because I've found that they work on my hair. Previously, I avoided using the products because of all the communication about not using the products because it is no longer fully owned by Lisa Price. I recently decided to step out and try the products and I love them - especially the newer ones as you mentioned - I love the Almond Milk Collection, the Cococreme Collection, and I just tried the Goddess Strength Collection and love that too.
It’s crazy cause I saw these on the website today and was so intrigued! I came to RU-vid and looked it up and didn’t see any reviews until you uploaded 🤩
Watching your review with your gorgeous and well taken care of hair was soothing and satisfying. Just thought I'd let you know that even though I can't necessarily use the information cuz my hair is fine and straight, I enjoyed your vid and wanted to show some luv❤
Very grateful for this step by step and honest review of these products. Just bought the original scent shampoo and deep conditioner to use for when I take my braids down and wanted a real review of the product.
@@AllThingsMoElle Ok took my braids down last night and washed it this morning. I really like how it worked. That's why I enjoyed your video because all the other reviews I had read/watched talked about how drying it was...I didn't get that but my goal was to use it as a clarifying shampoo. Enjoyed the slip of the conditioner as well.
Thank you for sharing. I am new at wearing my hair natural and added loads of black vanilla hair products to my cart because I love the smell. i liked what I saw with your final ptoduct. Thank you again.
The Mimosa Hair pomade has been an excellent alternative to the standard pomade for at least 20 years. I still use it but began with my 23 yo when she was 3 yo. It was sold in a 16 ounce size. That they need to bring back. Aside from a thick castor oil to lock in moisture in my 4a-c hair this the best used after a leave-in like TGIN RX, a butter cream of some type like Camielle Rose Almond Jai or TGIN RX curl food. Now initially you may see white specks after applying the hair pomade but it melts into the hair quickly. The curls are defined and moist for days after!
Thanks Mo for a thorough products review. I have the Aloe Shampoo and will probably get the Aloe DC. I usually try to avoid silicone but I'll walk on the wild side & try this.😉🪴😅🌹🥰
I use it as a deep conditioner from one day to another and my hair feels hydrated, and I love how my unmanageable hair felt when I blew it out after washing it off. The only thing is, it's super sticky😅, so your neck would be super sticky. I actually love it, my hair loves it ❤
Picked up the rose water shampoo and conditioner on a whim and used them last night and I am in love. I strayed away from CD but I’m returning to the line. Woke up the next morning and my hair is soft, detangled and rose scented 💕 I need a moisturizer and curly custard for this line and more scents. I agree with the milk collection as it did nothing years ago but I loved the way the brown sugar vanilla one smelled out and about
I’m glad you loved it hun! I feel like a lot of people strayed away from CD but are slowly making their way back, me included! I was obsessed with their Marula line, I was so sad when they discontinued it!
So I'm hispanic with waivyish hair that tends to get oily at the scalp and dry ends. Most conditioners just make my hair more oily with not much shine. The other day they were giving samples at Target and tried it and oh my gosh. I just used a small amount and it made my hair so shiny and healthy looking. I am now hooked. Just throwing it out that the conditioner also works amazing on straight to waivy hair in a small amount.
Dang Mo you hurt my lil feelings, I love the shampoos and conditioners from the Black Vanilla and Sacred Tiare lines.😣😂 I'm not an ingredient snob, but I wish the Wash Day Delight conditioners didn't contain isopropyl alcohol . Tfs
Girl they made my hair soooooo dry!! I guess this is a true testament to the fact that different things work for different manes! I still love you sis 🤗
Thank you! I don't have a video on fave Carol's Daughter products but I do have one on my favorite rinse-out conditioners: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g4BCkqgc3rA.html
The Aloe water-to-foam shampoo is the only line of Carol's Daughter that I like. I am definitely interested in trying the deep conditioner. Thank you for the review!
It's not actually a deep conditioner tho.. Thats why there aren't any instructions for sitting for a certain period of time.. its just a regular conditioner.
Thank you, I needed to know this and I couldn't find it anywhere! Type 3a/3b mixed, and a redhead with sensitive skin to boot I have to be really careful with my ingredients and usages. Thank you, I subscribed!
I tried their products a couple times and every time it turned my dry hair into crunchy brittle fragile totally the opposite as I need. Just watched docu-series on the Devacurl issues and felt maybe I’m not alone with my carols daughter experience
I’ve heard other people say this too. I had that experience with some of the other lines like the black vanilla, and the sacred tiare. My hair responded best to the almond butter line, the cocoa creme line, and this one!
Your hair is gorgeous. I want mine like that (a short version). My hair is short fine coils. It tangles fast even when I sweat at the garden. I am using the Coco Creme line. I don't like the gel. But I like the creme conditioner. What to do, what to do???
I did not know that the wash day delight cleanse actually lathered. When I saw it in Target, I thought it was a rinse lol. I stopped using this brand but when it worked for me, Black Vanilla was my fave. I enjoyed this video! I think the side with the original aloe product looked more defined even before you applied the conditioner. The rose water side looked good too though.
Hey there! I got the bottle as a free gift with purchase from EcoSlay. As far as frizz control it depends on the style in doing; for wash n go’s I use a heavy gel layered with a moisturizer to prevent frizz!
So I wanted to try this so I bought it from target and my hair is natural no relaxer or bleach and yes it smells great but immediately when I put this in and started working it in combing it my hair immediately went dry brittle felling 🤨😖 so I Literally washed it out and used my Shea hydrate repair shampoo and the softness came back
Maybe this new collection is better because carols daughter does not agree with my hair I have a virgin hair well from the big chop 1 inch new growth and she makes it feel like a cobweb Her conditioner makes it feel like a cobweb I don’t know maybe someone switch bottles with me or is just some people hair response differently to chemicals which I think that would make more sense I was really sad because I did a hair tutorial as far as products I needed in my hair chemist said I needed carols daughter and that was wrong 😱😱😱
