Today we take the new Caterpillar 306 to the horse farm to build a obstacle. #JasonWorksAlot #CaptainKleeman #EliteEarthworksLlc #DirtBoss #DigginLife21 #dirtperfect
"These horse people are somethin'" Ha! That dirt looks like it has a great texture. Like a sandy loam or something. Much different than what we have around here. Nice job.
Neil Koch: Dig-Drive-DIY I have to say that is the first water pit to ride a horse through that I’ve ever dug! LOL I guess there’s a first for everything. I wish I would have got more video of this job we built steps out of telephone poles and a bunch of steep inclines for the course. The dirt was much different in that area than it was around the high end of the property. Thanks for watching Neil
i took care of race horses at the meadows in meadowlands pa just outside Washington pa back in the 90s. i put poultices and blankets on them after a race as well as fed and cleaned stalls.loved working with horses. the water features help with flies and keeps them coll.
Travis G I agree you definitely feel like you’re in a bigger machine when you are running 306. Very impressive the strength of the machine. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
JasonWorksAlot I guess it’s like people with four-wheel-drive trucks and jeeps not that I know anyone like that ... they wash them and then take them in the mud! LOL. This is one of the strangest requests I have had to dig. 🧐
Full Tilt Grading jokes on you I’ve never washed my Jeep and my truck is 6 wheel drive 😎😎😎 completely unrelated. I’d like to put in a request to dig a large trench that we can drive my Jeep through.
JasonWorksAlot We can do that if you want! How about right in the middle of the swale that Mike put in that way you’ll make sure it will collect plenty of water LOL 😂
Full Tilt Grading I went to a Deere 50 from a 35 and was quite impressed with the size difference. I’m waiting patiently on my new 50” tilt grading bucket to show up. Pretty excited about it
Farming with Mitchell Morgan I do love running it just wish I could move it with a smaller truck to get into the tight sites I work at. I agree I should get a 3 foot digging bucket. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Brandon, didn't realise you did weekend work too !!! Must be a good size job to rope Ed in, will there be some more footage from this location?? Pleased to see you didn't hit any rocks either 😃
Alex Osborne hahaha yupp pretty much every weekend. I need to start filming on the weekends but it’s hard when it’s just myself. I get so caught up in the job . Thanks for watching Alex
Just wondering.... what happens at the water obstacle if the competitor shows up on a miniature horse? Do they lose points if the jockey carries the horse? Although I’ve owned two horses, I just realized there are a lot of things people do to them that I don’t understand. But I do know one thing....the excavation is top stallion!
Sassafras Valley I am literally laughing out loud right now at your comment! These are the questions that I should’ve asked the owner of the property I guess. I don’t own a horse so I guess I just never thought of these things. Thanks for the laughs and for watching 👍🏻
Full Tilt Grading glad you got a chuckle... Well my horses weren’t miniature but I did ride by a pasture on mare in heat... the mini stud got so excited I thought he was gonna jump the 5’ high fence! The woman holding his reigns had to tuck him under her arm to hold him back!!! •grin•
Full Tilt Grading oh... I forgot to tell you... a little known secret... that lady takes her horses around to schools. They can’t wear regular steel horseshoes on the gym floors. So, she goes down to the sporting goods store and buys four youth mouth guards.... glued them on with Dentu-Cream and voila! Floor is safe and the horse doesn’t slip and fall. Please pardon me while I get a butter knife to pry my tongue out of my cheek. 🤓
Clay Evans Believe it or not we are in southeast PA. This soil is not typical here it was just along the bottom of this one field. The rest of the side is all rock. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
No DEF on this machine because it is under 74 hp. It does have a DPF filter and will region about every 30 hours so far. Thanks for watching and we appreciate it 👍🏻
@@ljossola2341 The way I have my machine configured I’m just under 15,000 pounds. It all depends on how are you order your machine. Be very aware of what things weigh. A ram 3500 will do it as long as you have the proper trailer and your combination weight registration correct. Good luck
Yes it’s a homemade counterweight that we repurposed from a John Deere 310 backhoe. Works great and it only cost us the price of the bolts. Thanks for watching Eric 👍🏻
Full Tilt Grading apparently it’s a bad solenoid on the control valve my machine has been to foley twice they said the fixed it but as soon as I took it the noice came back lol I have to drop it off for them to fix again but I’ve been so busy I can’t give it up lmao
Michael F which dealership do you deal with? Are usually go to the one in Whitehall or Ben Salem. I will let them know to start looking there to see if I have the same problem
