Chris Evans has been Captain America, Casey Jones, Jensen, Curtis, Nick Gant, Lucas Lee and the Human Torch; I think he was just born in a comic book dimension
For those that don't know: Jensen is a character from The Losers. The film wasn't particularly good. At the very least, it wasn't memorable. Chris Evans does have the best scene in it though. His character is shooting people with his fingers as the sniper is actually taking them out. Curtis is from Snowpiercer. I know nothing about the film, and I guess this is how I learn that it was a comic. Nick Grant is from Push. It is a pretty good movie. Enjoyable, but nothing to really get excited about. The world in it is great. Pretty much everyone has one of five super powers (give or take). Chris Evans is the leading man who has to... save... someone? I forget the plot. The world is really what stood out. Lucas Lee is from Scott Pilgrim. If you haven't seen the movie, please do. It is fantastic. It's an Edgar Wright film complete with a witty script, interesting characters, great cinematography, and everything else. I'm still upset no one who I told to see it in theaters went. They later told me how great the movie was after it was on home video. It is just a great film. The graphic novels are really good, too. They have a pretty unique style and are plenty different from the film. I'd suggest buying the set. They're worth it. The Human Torch, well, you should know that one. Fantastic Four. Marvel's First Family. Stan Lee's project that turned the corner for Marvel Comics.
You aren't my friend, I love that movie to death, and that scene was gold; I really wish they could have move on with that same tone for the following adaptations
Fun fact: Chris Evans has starred in more comic book movies than any other actor (excluding Stan Lee). He has been Captain America, Human Torch, Casey Jones, Jensen (The Losers), Lucas Lee (Scott Pilgrim), Curtis Everett (Snowpiercer), and Nick Gant (Push).
@Michael nah, some people don't retain little gems of information like an actor who wasn't relevant at the time playing Casey jones in a movie that hasn't been relevant for 13 years
Lernardo: James Franco Raphael: Seth Rogen Michelangelo: Jonah Hill Donatello: Bill Hader Shredder: Craig Robinson Casey Jones: Paul Rudd Splinter: Ken Jeong April O’Neil: Ali Corbrin
I think Leo: jonah hill Ralph : Danny McBride Michelangelo : Michael Cera Donatello: Jay Baruchel Shredder : Craig Robinson Splinter : Seth Rogen Casey Jones : Paul Rudd April o Neil : Elizabeth banks
dude I LOVED that movie. I love the tmnt but mostly for what it could be and not usually for what the different series and movies amount to. For whatever reason though tmnt vs batman fleshed out the brothers' characters 1000x more than they usually get. It wasn't as much of a kids' movie and I think that's what made the writing and depth of emotion SO much better. If that ever happens again my mind will be blown in the best way possible lol.
Seth Rogen's TMNT voice cast, based on his frequent co-stars: James Franco as Leo Seth Rogen as Raph Bill Hader as Donny Michael Cera as Mikey Kristen Wiig as April Paul Rudd as Casey Danny McBride as the Shredder Jonah Hill as Bebop Channing Tatum as Rocksteady Craig Robinson as Baxter Stockman Kevin Hart as Kraang And I have not a clue for Splinter. No one really fits the bill. Seems like he'd try to bring in someone like Patrick Stewart.
You know, it's between this video and the last that's helped me realize how much I missed seeing you man. Y'know, it'd be cool if they pulled an Into the Spider-Verse with the Ninja Turtles and made their movie look like a living comic book. Also, maybe introduce the Mousers? Or the Triceratons and the Fugitoid? There are so many awesome storylines that need to be movies!
Same, big fan of Andre so much, I couldn't keep on watching because I was busy with stuff, but coming back to his videos is such a great thing as always, his videos motivated me in my adolescence
Lernardo: James Franco Raphael: Danny McBride Michelangelo: Jonah Hill Donatello: Jay Baruchel Splinter: Craig Robinson April O’Neil: Emma Stone Casey Jones: Bill Hader Shredder: Ken Jeong Bepop: Kevin Kart Rocksteady: Zach Efron Vern Fenwick: Paul Rudd Irma: Lauren Miller Baxter Stockman: Anthony Mackie Krang: Seth Rogan
(TMNT celebrity fancast): Thomas Middleditch as Donatello Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Shredder Jacob Batalon as Michelangelo Scott Porter as Casey Jones Greg Baldwin as Splinter Wil Wheaton as Leonardo Karen Gillan as April O'Neil & Dante Basco as Raphael
Since we're on this voice actor representation kick I wonder what famous person is going to voice splinter Jackie chan? Eric bauza Steven yeun the possibilities are endless
When the iconic intro music started playing after I click on this I thought I accidentally play an old video instead lol. So happy to hear it again Andre!
My TMNT Fancast: Leo - Nadji Jeter Donnie - Thomas Middleditch Raph - Dante Basco Mikey - Jacob Batalon April - Maya Hawke Casey - Scott Porter Splinter - Greg Baldwin or Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa Shredder - Kevin Conroy
I think that the turtle voices will be Leonardo= Seth Rogan, Seth Green or Eric Bauza Donatello= Rob Paulsen Michelangelo= Tom Holland or Kevin Hart Raphael= Sean Austin or Chris Pratt
I still think constumed actors would work, costume design and animatronics have come so far since the original films, combine that with CGI and it would of been amazing
Raph: Will Smith Mikey: Jim Carrey Leo: Samuel Jackson Donnie: Johnny Young Boshce(I am sorry for the spelling error), go from Power Ranger To Ninja Turtle, crossover anyone, lol. Splinter: Tim Curry Also, new Black Nerd intro, ooooh, and it sound like a updated version of the classic Black Nerd intro, even better.
The first time I heard the title “teenage mutant ninja turtles” I laughed SO hard because it sounded like madd libs and then I watched it and it was cool as hell
It's hard to mention Ninja Turtles without mentioning Shredder, but I'd really like to see them focus on other villains. Shredder can just be their version of Thanos; popping in at the end, looking intimidating, then bring him in as the big villain for the third or fourth movie.
Leonardo = Yuri Lowenthal Michelangelo = Greg Cipes Donatello = Nick Apostolides Raphael = Nolan North Splinter = Hoon Lee Shredder = Kevin Michael Richardson or Matthew Yang King
Have you not seen Preacher on AMC or The Boys on Amazon Prime? He produces & writes for both, adapting a lot of things from their respective comics. Both shows have a great balance between a mature/serious & humorous tone. I'm sure that's why he was picked or allowed to take on the Turtles.
Josh Gad as Michaelangelo Chris Pratt as Leonardo Jessie Isenberg as Donatello Seth Rogen himself as Raphael Oscar Isaac as Casey Jones Anna Kendrick as April Lawrence Fishburne as master splinter
Here are some characters I want to come to tmnt movies or Rise. Jennika from the idw Venus De Milo in next mutaion Lita from the idw comics Old Hob from idw comics
It's so amazing that there's gonna be a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot CG movie is coming soon. Can't wait to see more information all about it and can't wait to see it when it comes out in Nickelodeon or on theater. Great video as always.
They should make it in the style of the 2012 series. With that same cast. That was my favorite series after the original. I just hope they don't Scoob! this one
Leo= Zac Efron Raph= John Cena Donny= Tom Holland Mikey= Jacob Tremblay Jennika= Rosa Salazar Splinter= Jackie Chan April= Zendaya Casey Jones= Alex Wolff Shredder= Ken Watanabe
@Worwin Locsho it depends which direction they go if we want to go in the 80s Direction it's going to be a parody but considering gen Z has disposable income now and the 03 shows pretty nostalgic I'm hoping they might make something more in the vein of that
Timothee Chalamet=Leonardo Dacre Montgomery=Raphael Joe Keery=Michaelangelo Tom Holland=Donatello Karen Gillian=April O Neil Henry Cavill=Casey Jones Shredder=Kevin Conroy Splinter=Mark Hamill Bebop and Rocksteady= Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart Bit stacked but hey voice casting
It would also be cool if Hans Zimmer composes the score, given that he worked on the Kung Fu Panda trilogy and the 2019 remake of The Lion King, both of whom had Seth Rogen in a main role.
Voice Cast for New Ninja Turtles Movie: Leonardo= Ryan Reynolds Raphael= Michael B. Jordan Donatello= Bill Hader Michelangelo= T.J. Miller Splinter= Jackie Chan April O'Neil= Anna Kendrick Casey Jones= Jake Johnson Shredder= Ken Watanabe Krang= Nick Kroll Beebop= Jordan Peele Rocksteady= Keegan-Michael Key Baxter Stockman= Jamie Foxx Karai= Rinko Kikuchi Hun= Matt Schulze Irma= Ellen Page Burne Thompson= Seth Rogen Cameos: Judith Hoag and Robbie Rist
When I first saw this announcement I couldn’t help but think, why don’t they just make the sequel to TMNT 2007? I know it’s been 13 years and is probably the most forgotten of all the movies so far but TMNT 2007 hinted at a sequel and one was planned up until around 2009. Then the Michael Bay reboot was announced. I know it’s a long shot and it won’t happen but when they announced it was going to be 100% CGI and they showed an image of the 2007 Turtles, that was what made me want that.
Leo: Donald Glover Donnie: Justice Smith Raph: Dacre Montgomery Mikey: Ben Schwartz Shredder: Keith Davidson Splinter: Dustin Hoffman Casey Jones: Charles Melton April: Naomi Scott Baxter: Andre Meadows
Someone on Twitter said Rogen was a live action Ninja Turtle, and yeah, pretty much. You know those Turtles need a little help eating all that pizza *cough*.
Can't wait. As far as the cast? If we're going for an Ap Pack adjacent vibe, I'd cast: James Franco as Leonardo Seth Rogen as Raphael Jay Baruchel as Donatello Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Michelangelo Kat Dennings as April O'Neil Michael Cera as Casey Jones George Takei as Splinter Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa as Shredder
My fancast: *Leonardo: Sam Witwer* (Star Wars The Force Unleashed 1&2 as Starkiller, The VA for Darth Maul) *Donatello: Tom Holland* (Walter from Spies In Disguise) *Raphael: Stephen Amell* (Arrow and Casey in TMNT 2 Out Of The Shadows) *Michelangelo: Rob Paulsen* (because hes so close to being the only TMNT prime actor to voice all the turtles all that left is Mickey and Leo)
Great coverage and vid as always Andre but all that aside... THERE'S AN OFFICIAL 5TH TURTLE?! Edit: appearently it's semi old news and i feel like i've been living under a rock xD regardless it's both interesting and facinating how the story is going. Looking forward for what's coming
one thing I really want to see is a crossover with Transformers mostly because they're 2 franchises that have managed to survive all this time and I just really think they could make a cool story together...also Shredder and Megatron would make an awesome villain duo. Maybe through the power rangers in there for old times sake
If Andre ain't already subbed I suggest he check out The Old Turtle Den, it's a channel devoted to all thing TMNT and that's where I first heard about it..like last night he posted a vid about it. I was expecting Andre to cover this as soon as he heard.
