As it comes to the backward compatability strings: Why on the current switch? New games that come out will have 2 settings and the current switch wouldn’t know how to run that. This will fix that. I wonder if this could allow Switch 2 games to run on Switch 1, maybe with a mod... if the carts are different shapes then maybe roms.

If any Switch games needs a boost from the new system, it's got to be Batman Arkham Knight. That game is just awful on Switch!
