New Node War System | Surprise, It Sucks. 

since this video will probably keep getting views -- for transparency's sake the second war I attended was demonstrably more enjoyable. but I still think this system is terribly flawed. fun felt like a matter of luck, and the duration was still way too short.

tbh i kinda like this new nw changes, it destroy a monopoly of one mega alliance in a region/tier at least in my server. About the chaos, im pretty sure players will find a way in near future to go around that

Last hitting fort mechanic needs to change. I kind of get what they were going for with it but its way too coin flippy and makes the last few secs the only part that mattered in too many situations. Other than that i think this new system has a lot of upside. We had a lot of fun last night. Tbh most people want nw to be a giant rbf with annexes. Im not necessarily that person but i saw more than a few people estatic to not have to pay attention to allies/politics.

Not sure if every single node has the same reward regardless of time you need to protect in order to win but if not increasing some of the nodes time and reward would be more engaging for the bigger guilds and smaller guilds can chase after the ones like you captured and get less rewards just my opinion tho.

I'd rather improve this NW system (which is crap btw) than even look at the old one (which is even crappier).

Honestly new system was my first node war in a year. I actually enjoy it and I think if done correctly it will be wonderful it kills politics in NA and if there is any its more like on the spot politics like how it used to be a long long time ago where if you saw a guild you was fighting you would whisper the leader mid war and try to come to an agreement or say fuck it and kill them. Some people are theory crafting that with the way things are now if you find where the stick is and you make a base with a flag and everything near by and just assault the obj.

I mean, it has its pros and cons. Because now its not going to be guilds stacking up the best players just so they can win. And if someone just wants a win and doesn't care about pvp as much, yeah. That fort there at 7 mins is for them. I agree that its not the best and can have some tweaks done to it to enhance the overall experience, make it a bit more strategic and not a zergfest at the end; but I didn't dislike it. I enjoyed it more than I enjoyed the previous system with the shit politics. In that case, you can risk getting locked out and not playing at all for a week if someone clocks you out at pre 10 minutes.

Fuck this is actually sick. This gives small guilds a chance to get nodes and join in on fights. I feel like this so going to get people join discord and PvP as small groups in rbf for training and big guild activity on weekends or what not. Finally, PvP is more interactive with the rest of the player base. Not just 'big guilds'
