kbeauty has been in on this for a while! lip oils were already big in korea many years back (like the iconic sampar lip oil that's nowhere to be found now) and now they're moving onto products like these (called "melting balms") and lip balms in jars. tho actually, what started it in korea was the hourglass one... there are lots of kbeauty options for this type of product if anyone's interested! i find korean brands do "soft" and muted colors way better. personal color-wise i'm a light spring so i'm sticking to my kbeauty faves for this type of product

I Love your explanations!!!!! 🥰I (so far) I hate lip oils. Laura Geller made lipgloss several years ago that was sparkly and feels so good on the lips. Fortunately I stocked up. She seemed to have discontinued lip gloss. Of course I want her to bring it back!! I keep hoping I can find it again! 🥰 I see she has some new lip products..I have to try them!!!

Honestly I love the og fat lip oil. it’s moisturizing, not sticky, and pigmented. I love the click it pens but not in public lol I have a click it lip gloss and they’re not discreet.
I have quite a few like this from Rom&md. they are nice and all, but overall I think the whole thing is basically just another lipgloss but in a little more harder form
I’m a no makeup-makeup girl…I juuuuust started using the fat oil and I love it so much for an every day but I’m going get one of these for a more dramatic pop of color when going out!
Insofar as the American market, it reminds me of the about-face Cherry Pick Lip Color Butter, but a titch less saturated. I love those so perhaps it’s worth a swatch next time I’m in Ulta. Lovely content as always! 💕
the shade of the og looks so good on everyone but on me it just looks clear and a very sheer but dark blackish blue 😢 like sfx makeup to make an actor look d word (i’m pale af but idk my undertones)

I got this product for free after buying a bunch of other nyx products and I kinda don't have use for it but the formula feels so nice I sometimes just wear it at home lol
I bought the light pink one, i like the color but the formula... most of the time it doesn't hydrate my lips that well, it just sat ontop of my dry spots on my lips

I really love the formula and texture of the click sticks better than the lip oil and they have more pigmentation, but I just didn’t care for the colors on my skin tone.
These look so fun! but I have a question if you using the one that clicks what happens if you accidentally click it more than you were supposed to , does it retract or do you have to do is use all of it that you clicked out?

I so badly wanted to love the fat oil original. I bought two. But, the wideness of the applicator isn’t comfortable for me. Maybe I’ll try this instead! Thanks 🙏🏻
Goddamn havent even finished my lip oil but now I want.. nay NEED this one! And here I've been applying a tinted lip balm and then the lip oil luck a shmuck to get this effect 😂😅
I don’t understand how anyone can like the original Nyx fat oil, it’s incredibly sticky and the pigment just wipes off. I can’t wait to try the new version, it’s looks way better.
