How would you compare these to Kalaidos lip clays I have been thinking of trying them. Thanks for the swatches and reviews. I have the color Latte foam and I love the color and formula
I received a sample of this formula in the red color and immediately preferred it to the soft matte lip creams! I find this new smooth whip to be much more pigmented, higher coverage, and less patchy than the older formula. Considering decluttering the older lip creams in favor of the new formula 🤔
Thanks for the review! You and I appear to have the same skin tone so your review is quite useful. Do yourself a favor though, get Shiseido Facial Cotton to clean your lips with instead of that rough paper towel. You will not regret the purchase. thanks again!
Nyx lipstick whip cream remind me of Victoria Secret lipstick matte.....i love the red lipstick from nyx they do stain on it n very smooth on it.......😍💄
You have just highlighted the reason why I no longer wear NYX soft matte and their lipsticks. The lipstick and ALWAYS revealed my lip lines, caused dry clumping on the middle of my bottom lip would happen after 5 minutes of application causing the colors to look patchy and over textured.

That's a great question! I just swatched both and in terms of whipped texture, yes they're very similar. Both have similar pigmentation too! But I feel like Rare Beauty has a little bit more oil content in the formulation and it spreads just a little thinner.
I don't like the soft matte lipstick formula at all. It just sits on my lips and are gone with 1 wipe. But also sitting randomly on lines or drier spots. But a lot of people actually love them so that's a me problem I guess😂 The new ones sound more interesting at least.
No but I was the same exact way! I never liked the soft matte lip cream formula and was actually shocked that I liked the one I tried in this video. To me the formulations are very different. The smooth whip kind of reminds me of the Mac powder kiss liquid lipsticks but a little heavier
