@@Mavuika_Gyaru I didn't think of Kaijus but Runick Spright can also be able to beat over Obelisk with Gigantic and Gamma Burst or Pixies. That's why I said Runick itself (then again Runick should be able to deck out Obelisk on his own because the Runick Fusions return to the Extra Deck when destroyed by battle or card effect).

The most I’ve ever burned someone for is 8k on Duel Links. They were a Blue Eyes player and I had Ally of Justice Decisive Armor.

You know, this gives me an idea… In the anime, when you did Obelisk’s tribute effect, Obelisk would gain infinite ATK, SO… Current effect: _Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. When Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. Neither player can target this card with card effects. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Send it to the GY. You can Tribute 2 monsters; destroy all monsters your opponent controls. This card cannot declare an attack the turn this effect is activated._ Proposed Amendments: (Which will be *_Boldened)_* _Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. When Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. Neither player can target this card with card effects. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Send it to the GY. _*_(Quick Effect)_*_ You can Tribute 2 monsters _*_From your hand and/or field; destroy all monsters your opponent controls, Then Increase this card’s ATK and DEF by the combined total ATK/DEF of those Tributes._*_ This card cannot declare an attack the turn this effect is activated._

@@uglyboi5254 Besides, by making the tribute effect (quick effect), allowing it to use tributes from the field _and_ hand AND conferring those tributes total ATK/DEF (coupled with the fact the original effect was never an OPT to begin with), Obelisk becomes *far* more potent in disrupting your opponent’s turn, while better emulating it’s anime versions raw power. If I had, for example, 2 of “Dystopia The Despondent” in my hand, that would be a 20,000 ATK/DEF boost for Obelisk… OR if I were feeling extra silly, _imagine the same with two of Number iC1000: Numerounius Numerounia, for a permanently 400,000 (mistakenly said 200,000) ATK/DEF Obelisk._

@@ButFirstHeLitItOnFire1. If it were combined ATK/DEF, that would be 400,000, because 1 Numeronius has 100k/100k for 200k total stats. 2. Getting Numerounius out is a pain in the ass, so getting two out is more of a flex than a game plan. 3. DYSTOPIA MENTIONED 4. The Obelisk buff is actually really nice, and we should get more stuff like it for him and Slifer after all the support Ra has gotten. (Slifer has some adjacent support I guess in Thunderspeed and the Queen's/Jack's/King's support, but Obelisk doesn't really.)

Uh no it was just announcement, the actual ban still not happening yet. When the new selection pack was in the game the only change was mx saber invoker is now limited instead of banned.
