Such a nice sounding synth! They put together the perfect combination of components for this.

I really like what I'm hearing. I already have the Take 5, but it does seem pretty different.

the main issue with synths is that the chords are not she shape they should be if you zoom in at max compared to for real or samplered instruments, especially strings and winds which behaves like fractals as a person who appreciates the differences between similar chords my opinion is the synths are poor and should be used only as melody

TBH, I don't understand what you're talking about. What does it mean to zoom in to a chord? What's 'shape of a chord' supposed to mean?

@@valuemastery the waveform as seen in a daw of chords, especially if recording real strings played at the node ( harmonic) does create a unique shape, as unique is your iris and your finger tips prints. i am the inventor who counted all the possible chords and scales, back in 1995, and i wanted to hear all them. i recorded into a minidisc a electric guitar with different open tuning for each chord, around year 2002? and those pure chords lacked the unwanted other notes that a string creates. i looked at the waveforms, and each type of chord had a style of shape, some sort of a bubble, that gets repeated over and over with less volume. you cannot obtain that from a synth because the nature resonates adjusting the beatings that makes the chord. one good example of very very fast beating is when you play the tonic and second major and third minor. (x,2M,3m) in example (C, D,D#). we must differenciate samplers that has the ability to offer harmony, chords, from samplers that are only suitable for melodies or even worst, rhythm. when the sampler is poor and you play 4 or more notes at once, they all sound too much alike. synths falls into the category of poor sampler. it is like watching the ADN sequence of a chord, zoom in, as in the microscope. i should make posters with each chord, similar as those museums who has many butterflies. similar but different. when you use bad sampler o reverb you destroy those beatings dissonances, reason why most the music we've heard has been composed with the 2 chords major and minor. i see the list of chords as if were all the words of a dictionary. one way to measure the chord is the interaction of notes. the problem with synth is that each note has some sort of fixed vibrato, and when you play more than one note at once the vibrations are like at spinning speakers, no matter the chord you play, and that destroys the beauty of harmony as we have enjoyed listening to voice choirs in example LA ESCOLANIA DE MONTSERRAT EL CSNT DELS OCELLS. i have 26 teras of kontakt, but i know most samplers are not good enought for harmony. of course analogue synths sounds way better than the kontakt versions of synths, as demostrated by johan segeborn, but other kontakt virtual instruments has more musicality than the real instrument, if you chose the nearby dry recording because in multitrack you can obtain the physically impossible all instruments fitting close together. i live in a chord world where i do care about which next chord is going to sound. like a for real wise poet who takes in account all the words within the dictionary for the next word to write. i do try at least thirty thousand different chord before moving to the next chord of the composition. chords are like colours, precise unique types of colours. or better analogy, chords are like cooked food. you do can identify the taste of certain dish. and we cannot deny there are thousands tastes.

@@arcadepiano curious because synths and synths chords have been successfully used with and without other instruments in a lot of compositions (example the intro of Thriller by Michael Jackson for example has synth chords and brass and it works). I think the synth is a different instrument than others and you need to know how to use it. There are a lot of sound possibilities, not all of them work for chords, but this doesn’t mean all of them would behave the same. I think if you know how to use a synth, this should not be a problem. Actually imperfection is part of the beauty of an analog synth. But this doesn’t mean you can have sounds which are more stable than others.
