New One Hand Quick Catch GLITCH in Pokémon GO! Here’s How 

Know what would be a REAL QOL update? A switch in settings to "always" give the run away option from catches once the ball is thrown. Never see it though cause that would be a good thing and Niantic doesn't like to do that normally.

On android there is a screen minimize feature. It will shrink they app to half the screen size. It helps with one handed play cuz then your thumb can reach

Maybe it only works a few times before you have to rotate a pokemon again? Seems like a lot of hassle if that's the case

This is really interesting. I've been using a one handed fast throw trick i discovered for almost 2 years now and it requires no set up. I can't be the only one to figure this out. You just put one finger on the berry icon or ball icon and then after put the other finger where you wish to throw from (i use my thumb and index finger). Then just throw normally and release both fingers at the same time. Click the screen once and then click top left to run as you would a normal fast throw. If the method in the video gets patched or you don't want to do the set up you can try the method i've described.

If you play PvP reset your game before battling if activated because it’s nearly impossible to switch Pokémon if you have done this

Here's how you can tell if it's "enabled". Start like the original quick catch method. If you get a Pokeball instead of pulling the berry or ball tray icon, then youre set.

Is it still working? Each time I click on turn direction it makes me exit out of spin and out of AR mode

I just joined a remote raid and was unable to use any charge attack even after running and joining back in can anyone confirm or not if this was the reason or just some other glitch I happened to get I realized I didn’t fully close out my game before joining the remote raid when catching regirock and reaching for berry I realized quick catch was still applied never had this happen before but it sucked as I felt useless with only fast moves

You can also pull the berry tray out THEN grab the pokeball THROUGH it and throw.

Holy crap that’s awesome! I always complain how hard it is having to quick catch while walking my dog but now I can just do it with one hand !

The gym bug is that charged attacks don't fire, or if they do, the damage rebounds.

From what I have noticed is when trying to give my pokemon in a gym a Berry it throws it to other pokemon Edit close game fully to feed pokemon at gym

So it worked for about a week and then it seems that they fixed it? Is it still working for you?

This seems like an odd addition. Why not just make it where pulling the ball from the corner activates the quick catch by itself? Like, what is the purpose of rotating a pokemon? It just seems so random and such a bizarre process to strategically implement when it could have been a lot simpler. For now, I'll continue with the original quick catch method. 🤷‍♀️

Think this also bugged out other parts of the game. I wasn't able to do any charged attacks in a raid once this was "enabled", fyi

It stops you from being able to throw charge attacks in gym and rocket battles.

On android you can just hit the back button and its the same as hitting the "run" button and much easier to access.

Since i didn't care about the "old method " it doesn't make a difference to me i catch normaly or with the plus +

Man this is so helpful if you only use one hand most of the time. Otherwise it's meh. I really hope they don't patch it. Idk but my phone isn't buggy at all with the new update so I guess that helps.

Ok.. I was like. I thought we knew this already. But the swipe caught my eye... Then I realized... we can do the same with the menu. Click the ball and drag your finger to Pokedex, Poke Storage, etc. Didn't know that about quick catch tho....

The AR mode is so slow. By the time the pokemon shows up in the AR mode, I already catch it in normal mode. Not useful at all.

I did this and then immediately got invited to a raid and none of my charge attacks would work. Does anyone know how to reset this?

How are you using the AR feature in the storage. I am tapping on a Pokémon and get nothing.

This is definitely good to do while riding a bicycle with the phone in the mount. I have one hand steering the bike

Wont work and now I can slid the tray out to quick catch the original way

while this is pretty fun and practical, i think most of the community day i would just stand around in one spot or just sit in one hotspot so one hand or two hands makes little difference haha pretty cool though

in the past we had couple of weeks that you could catch normally and just press "back" on the phone and get out of the catching stage. simple just like that, with no tricks. that was the best times for the game. really dont understand niantic why not do it simple as that..

Yeah but this trick stops if you have to restart the game, and with the amount of times this game crashes, it’s a little annoying to redo it every time.

That's really nifty! I hate quick catch. Maybe I'll use this one now. Not judging your full pokemon storage... if you have someone you trust, you can have them organize your storage for you. I do my bfs. That way, he has more space to catch what I want to trade to me.

When I heard one hand, i automatically thought you can do the entire process with one hand which would be OP. Not what i thought but still not bad i guess.

I think it's interesting that you play with your right hand but you throw curve balls clockwise 😅

I can do the old speed catch trick with one hand.

I samsung galaxy so i just have buttons not need to press left up to corner. But yes i love this trick and i hope this time it will be here with us

This is very effective way of catching pokemon. However, you will not be able to use charge attacks in raids.

Now I need to crazes comment here is another legendaries Pokemon make it's debut in Pokemon Go also have special effect. Is Koraidon and Miraidon. So I can 100% confirm if you do this trick you do not want to join a raid with it still in play it makes it so you can’t use charged attacks and your guy will be useless 😂😂 make sure to close your games out before doing raids
