I'm mastery 7 Aurelion Sol... Cannot believe the cut his W damage in half! That's really the only way he can attack. When someone kites you, you ult, stun, and BOOP them to death. No more booping. Edit: AND it costs MORE mana! TF Rito.

Anivia and Cass needed much more Nerfing, but the Aurelion Nerf was legit, cause the early game was just too strong. They could have buffed his dmg against Tanks in Lategame a little though to compensate for the weaker early.
They said they want to rework him at some point, in one of two ways. Either make him tankier but with less damage so he can do the Shurima shuffle stuff, or get rid of the Shurima shuffle but give him his insane DPS/Poke/Waveclear.
The easiest way to deal with Riven, Irelia, Darius, Jax, or any hard cc champ top is to play AP tank Morgana. Go ROA into a defensive item like Frozen Heart, into Gunblade for extra sustain and a bit more damage into zzrot for even more pushing potential. Because her base damage is actually quite high, she can endlessly push waves with little to no effort, and sustain from any possible poke, and after she hits lvl 6 she is so hard to gank due to her Black Shield and ultimate. Plus her black shield discourages your enemy from trades because if they get in morg's face she will just either pop ult or q them after blocking any cc they dish out.
Literally just climbed out from gold 5 to plat 5 in a matter of a week and half only playing skarner. Very underrated champ I suggest some of you try him out! Shocked he wasn't in this video.
On Aurelion Sol: I don't think the Aurelion Sol nerfs are that harsh; The W damage nerf is partially compensated by the Passive damage buff (although the damage is comparatively lower during early/mid game and only gets higher late game). Besides, the W mana cost is higher only in the first levels; lvl5 it's actually lower (30 mana p/sec instead of 40). The E QoL changes are actually very good: you don't have to charge the E anymore, and can cast it from outside the range, which makes using it much easier. The thing is, now the best level up order is Q>W>E and not W>Q>E anymore (just like it was during his post-release). This gives Aurelion a much stronger burst early game, 'cause most of your damage will come front-loaded from you Q. This can help snowball into mid-late game through your roaming. At least that's the experience I've been having so far.

Mid lane had a ton of viable champs... The nerfs are unnecessary. But I guess riot has to change the game every two weeks. That's what they have marketed from for years.

Not an adc main but that twitch nerf isn't that bad regardless of most situations. Honestly im not a fan of the other adcs but i love supporting, top, jungle. Honestly sona isn't a great support even in late game i normally dont get the enemy sona to that late game phase when i jump into some ranked.
Do you think Poppy will start to show up more? To counter Zac and Riven...even maybe Nautilus. Been playing with her the last three weeks and have just lost one game.
I swear either I'm going crazy or everyone is just reading the aurelion patch changes wrong. It looks like a straight buff with literally no nerfs besides situational conditions on his e. the star damage nerf on his w is ONLY the base damage for his passive when you don't have it activated, and that's because the per level scaling was increased. when you activate his w I think it does like 150% of that damage, so his damage has basically not been changed at all, it's just moved from basically peaking at level 9 to consistent scaling over the course of the game
@phylol Hey phy, just want to get your thoughts on Varus adc. Im silver 1 at the moment, and i started playing him as adc a few weeks ago. I don't build him with tear, I go Essence Reaver into shiv and usually do really well against most match ups. he has poke, great damage, burst and consistent, engage or disengage tools, and he can counter soraka and sona with his E. I find that he works really well as long as long you dont build tear because it takes too long to ramp up his damage. what are your thoughts? I just feel like people over look his potential.
