Ugh that's the part I hate the most is how the knobs come loose so often. Comfort has never been a big deal on my old headgear I was hoping they had addressed that other issue bummer.

FINALLY, after 2 1/2 months Baker's told me it's on the way. Apparently the boys in Switzerland didn't anticipate the overwhelming interest in their new line and head gear and ran out. Can't wait to put it on my Crystal 2.0!

UPDATE. IT ROCKS! Absolutely the most comfortable head gear I have ever had! Little tricky on the install. Keep track of the various spacers and look at the diagram when you install. Works great with a welder's cap. If you keep the pivot knobs snug, it doesn't fall down.

Does it help reduce the helmet from falling forward from the up position when I look down at something on the bench? My main complaint with the crystal hood is it never stays up when I want it to.

Chris, it does fit completely differently to your head. I dont have the slip issue on mine have you tried adjusting the sides to sit closer to your head? Also on mine I have the green cup which I found helped with the comfort on the original headgear.

I have the papr version of this hood. I wanna put the iso fit headgear on it but with the face seal I feel like it'll be more of hassle than it already is. Anyone have an iso fit on their papr hood?

Can you please do a segment on auto darkening goggles? Miller weld mask and Lincoln arc-specs. These look like an amazing solution for tight spaces and also blocking external light.

How is the pressure/weight on the forehead? That is my biggest issue with my Miller digital elite. I love everything about that helmet except the amount of weight on my forehead. It gives me a nasty headache.

I agree with Chris F. My Pano 2.5 always falls half way down. There is NO up spot that will hold and then release with a flick of the head. A huge drag while moving around your workpiece before each arc, always pushing it up. Demo otherwise on your videos or I just can’t justify another Optrel$$$. Regardless of the new headgear that solves the comfort issue but not the functional part. Thanks

Yes great question. You can wear a cap under it but just fits a little differently. Totally personal preference.

Just got this from you guys and man does this thing suck. It sits too low to be useable . Even adjusted to the max im looking right at the bottom of the lens at most .

Hello, we are sorry you do not like the fit. Have you tried adjusting the fit. There are a ton of adjustments if you loosen up and tighten the way you want it.
