I have a 2021 Laufey. I’ve ridden it on everything from techy chunk to the downhill park. It’s such a badass bike. It goes basically anywhere you wanna ride it.
I find the downtube storage to be very practical. The least amount of gear I have to carry in my backpack/water bladder (I live in a desert) , the better for me.
Hi just a short question, as the bike is shown on jump lines in this edit, is the bike cleared for doing bikepark laps or would this void the warranty? Really cool bike by the way and I think the perfect bike to join in between my Scott Scale and my Occam "LT"
Hello @Mo.Jo.MTB_101 the #OrbeaLaufey is designed, either for XC or for the jumps on your local trails as the frame has been designed, optimizing the stiffness and each of the tubes to ensure fun and reactivity. As for the warranty, Orbea offers a lifetime defect warranty on all its frames. If you want to know more about the Laufey and the services we offer, go to our website: www.orbea.com/gb-en/bicicletas/montana/laufey/ Best Regards!
Im a 13 year old, i love trails jumping and that. Is this bike really ALOT better than the laufey H30? I mean the peice is super diffdrent but if the bike is not that different i go for the other one. Whixh ones better?
The newer one will probably be softer in the rear. The old one is quite stiff. Both the new one and old has a h30 model. It is the lowest, which I have. The h10 is mutch better though , new and old. I sort of prefer the old geo except fot the chain stays which are longer on the new. Which I like. The Merida big trail also exists. Where do you live?
Es un cuadro tan rígido como el anterior que se nota tanto la vibraciones ? Geometría perfecta excepto las vainas que las hubiese preferido más cortas 430-435 ,por lo demás estéticamente le pongo un 10.
Hello! You can find the availability of all our models in your nearest dealers thanks to Rider Connect on our website when you visit the product. If you don't find what you want, you can also contact us at online.eu@orbea.com and we will be happy to help you. Best regards!
I would say the older bike is more playfully. Shorter chain stays and shorter overall. The newer is more compliant , they claim, and have a steamer sta. Which means you have to have a longer reach. Which skewes the R.A.D in the wrong direction if you want a more BMXy bike feel. I would say the older bike is more playfully but the newer one is more capable and more compliant and better built.
