The OSP-1040-10 is the very long serial number for the new Aluminium Bar for the Orca Bags OR-40 Audio Bag Harness. This better spreads the weight of the bag from the shoulders and the lower back to help ease the worry of back pain from longer shoots.

Hi guys, take note, this is only OR-40 harness made after the year 2016 compatible ! So, check that your OR-40 harness has the bottom pouch in it !

Good thing I checked, was about to buy one but my OR-40 doesn't have the bottom pouch unfortunately :(

I've only used it on one shoot, but I'm not really sure it made much of a difference. It wasn't as night & day as I thought it would be, but at $20, its no skin off my back either.

Matt does this Bar make the OR-40 an alternative to the K-Tec KSHRN2 wich has a bar built in?

its listed on their website but does say the price is 0 so think they will do another round of testing and tweaking

I'm not going to worry about purchasing it yet. For the time being, I'm only using the OR-30 audio bag . So far my back isn't killing me yet.
