Never had a great voice, but the music was and is great, and in the studio his voice matches well with the music... I still love listening to New Order.. Thank you.
It's not like he had much of a choice. I first watched Joy Division in 1978 & they were just brilliant. Then remember seeing New Order after Ian passed & they were bloody awful. I admired Barney's bottle for doing it & the fact is nobody thought they'd turn into this mega band. Even they didn't see any of this happening.

Keeping the New Order sound alive! Giving it to the next generation, who really can respect it. Dad Music it ain't. It was ahead it's time, I knew it was great but I wasn't able to fully appreciate the sound as I do now. Mind bendingly brilliant.
i dont know how it was when this was composed...but i think they knew they had the song...once the music started playing.... and after all these years...its still kicking...like from day one.....god bless us for being able to enjoy this...with them...

Yep I know he was never the greatest singer However I do feel the Melodie’s are some of the best ever written and just so ahead of their time. I think I probably listened to new order more than any other band in my life. Truly love the sound - still. When that keyboard hook kicks in it takes me back to the first time I heard it
Re heard Love Vigilantes = can’t really describe with words but was transported to a different plane. Lifted as it were. Goosebumps . Pretty sweet. Not much video available but am glad we have the new Vinyl available. 2023.
Почему никто не скажет что поет он здесь плохо! В такт попасть готов не всегда. Я понимаю , старость не радость но.... Музыка хорошая ,электроника не ошибается ,а вот человеческий фактор подводит. Сравнить молодую песни и эту , большая разница.
