Brotherhood was my intro to New Order, But Power Corruption and Lies is my all time fave, Low Life slightly behind it. We all Stand and Leave me alone being two of my favorites!
My favorite part of the video was that you brought up the artwork - Saville really leveled up with the imagery of that the record to the point it wouldn’t look out of place with the Deutshe Grammophon section. It exudes classic While not an original option, PC&L era is the best of NO’s work for me- all that came after it seemed to be a variation of this record. Runner up is Technique (big surprise) but they all had solid songs on all of their albums.
Now I was more a Low life fan l liked power Corruption lies! And yes Technique was amazing! It was a competition with my friends who could get the 12" singles first! Blue Monday is just amazing! At the time they were at they were top of their game and no Hookey no New order! Change of subject two channels dealing with prog are having a pretty nasty sarcastic war with one another! Why? Great video and you seem much more comfortable doing your video this way! More idiots out there more than ever!
PCL is probably my favourite New Order album but on another day it might be Low Life with Technique a close third. Definitely in my top 20 of favourite albums. Your Silent Face and Leave Me Alone are simply magnificent. Confusion is meh . The very first record I ever bought was Thieves Like Us and set the tone for the rest of music I would buy.
