That moment when Knott's has a more detailed maze than a movie studio maze. No but seriously HHN mazes have been so lackluster these past years, and it's like every year Universal has more and more black walls. I've been trying to tell my friends that Knotts has just as good mazes, more mazes, and more rides for way less of the cost.
knotts has made serious efforts in recent years. not all of them were successful but they're not afraid of trying something new. this year, with this maze and updated ones from last year, it's the best Scary Farm from what i can remember since i've been going from 2016.
Hands down, the best maze Knotts has ever made, completely blown away with the amount of detail and effort that went into this, especially the lengthy ness.
So basically, this town had its own witch trials. Except the witch was real and just cursed the town with this chaos. And that vengeful woman became the green witch herself.
hands down, the BEST maze this year at knotts just on the detail alone. and so much better than Red Barn... worth the wait for sure. the fact that it's Calico themed makes it all the more immersive. the catawampuses are adorable too.
@@matty6878 that will be the second maze I will go through. Because I usually do the newer mazes first. This maze fits with ghost town streets so good. They announced the scar zones for 2021. I’m planning on going on opening night. I will miss showdownlands and infected.
@@daniellenning2650 shadowlands was my favorite! i wonder if there will be a maze to replace infected? everyone is wondering 'cause its about this time mazes are starting to get built (like the one where shadowlands was at). either way, i'll get a season pass so i'll be there any chance i get!
Damn long but I love the era of the maze. The flying witch is a good ad on. Def will be going this year. Just for this maze and to go into shadow lands infected and I forget what other maze is closing this year
I remember the first year I went, they had actors hiding on the calico train ride, think it was called the spider's lair then. THAT was terrifying because it was pitch black in there and you could not see when someone was scaring you, not to mention the train controlled the speed you went so you can't bolt. Same with the log ride, which was red moon massacre, a red riding hood werewolf crossover. After that they stopped putting live actors in the rides because it was too dangerous I heard, which is a pity, but I guess a legit concern.
It wasnt so much a safety issue, they rennovated with new animatronics and didn't want to mess with them. I missed that time, i used to be on the log ride in 96 when it was Camp Gonnagetcha
wow, that's going way back! yeah, i keep wondering if they'll ever put live actors on the log ride again 'cause that added an element you don't get on any other ride ever at other theme parks. i remember one year the log ride was Evil Dead themed with Ash showing up before the big drop haha. i do wish the mine ride had a theme for the event like years past. i remember it was a witch's cavern one year.
I really wish I was going to Knott's this year so I could experience this incredible maze! So much detail to every room. And the rain in that one room! Flawless!
2:43 I’m just noticing this. The baby in the corner next to the fire place is the same one from trick or treat: lights out. I like how they hid Knotts Scary Farm history in there.
I remember near the end when the hand was reaching out to you, my friend attempted to limbo underneath it. What made it so funny was how he wasn’t even phased at all, and just accidentally fell on his back anyways🤣
