Check out the highlights from the New Orleans Breakers vs. Philadelphia Stars. The Stars started off strong with two field goals. Then the Stars intercepted the ball and Armani Dennis ran it back for a 72-yard touchdown. The Breakers retaliated by scoring a touchdown, keeping them in the game. The Breakers scored a field goal in the third. Then, the Breakers intercepted Stars' QB Case Cookus. Madness ensued with two back-to-back interceptions. Case Cookus racked up 238 total yards and two interceptions. New Orleans Breakers' QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson racked up 190 total yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

I'm not sure how the USFL is doing financially, but their on-field product over the past 2 seasons I've watched has been amazing. So many exciting games, and great players. Hopefully the league can find a way to survive and thrive.

I get that some people don’t like the added crowd noise, it I actually like it. Once they move to all of the home cities, they won’t need it, but this is what we have until then.

If the Stars somehow find their prolific offense from last year and Case Cookus gets back on track they can still be a championship threat. Look what the Arlington Renegades did in the XFL..got into playoffs with a losing record playing like dog 💩 going into playoffs, but they found an offense in the playoffs and pulled out a championship 🏆

Need to look at smaller venues for their games (i.e. soccer or FCS football stadiums). Theres no need to play in 60-70 thousand seat stadiums.

@@starwarssatan5588 This is what's keeping the league afloat. TV and online revenue has been at least okay. So from a business standpoint, the USFL is at least surviving. Right now, this is the longest a non-NFL league has lasted in the United States in nearly 40 years. That really says something. (Arena league doesn't count to me).

The XFL is better for one significant reason: the XFL brings its game to the people. The USFL, with its hub system, expects people to come to the game. I want both leagues to succeed, but I can’t stand watching more people on the field than in the stands, and FOX’s fake crowd noise. At least NBC is honest.

There were apparently 7,500 fans yesterday when the Panthers played their actual home game in this same stadium. Today there were maybe 750 fans in the stadium at most. My point is, if this game had been in a college or soccer stadium in the Philadelphia area, instead of Detroit, I think there's a chance 7,500 people would have showed up to cheer for the Stars.

Not a lot of good play from White players this week. In fact, all of a sudden McBT1 looks less like early-stage Ryan Fitzpatrick and more like late-stage Ryan Fitzpatrick.
