At this point I would rather see Haener get the start for the whole game. He deserves at least one game to see how he does as well. It's not like a win or loss is going to matter much either way for this season. I seriously doubt they will even get 5-6 wins for the season. So let the two young guys have a chance. Rattler had three games, so do the same for Haener. Just saying. 👍

If the Saints were serious about the QB position they would have let Rattler play out the season. The Saints have 0 chance making the playoffs, the only team is beatable are the giants. Yeah the Saint will win this game just like last season but thats it mainly DC will not listen to Kubiak or follow the playbook. Oh the Saints D ... Ranked 6th in points allowed, #4 in rushing allowed, #4 passing yds allowed. What they have going for them are INTs they are ranked #2. Rattler played against the #1 D with points allowed / Chargers, #4 Broncos with points allowed ... yet DC is going against the worst D in all categories this weekend.

@@Dr-puppenstein Very convenient that he leaves out that the Bucs have the 28th ranked scoring defense, 30th ranked defense in yards, 29th ranked passing defense and Rattler couldn't do anything without Baker Mayfield giving him a 15 yard field....

Since their DC had taken over even when Sp was HC of the Saints they have been close to last in 2 categories pass attempts and pass competitions. Because of that stat JW and TS were able to throw multiple TDs against them. Brees struggled because the Bucs play a cover2 which forces the QB to be patient and become predictable. It why ATL always changed to the Cover2 inside the 20 when they played against Brees. Now since the Bucs for 5 years been so bad in those categories they makeup for it in other areas. In overall D they are tied for 5th ... speaking of which this is the same Buc team whose offense stumped teh Saints D and gave up 136 yds to a player who before that game averaged 1.8 yds a carry. And as I recall DC started that game not Rattler, it was DC who ignored the a wide open Chris Olave and threw an INT targeting a double cover Shaheed. You really think DC was injured? No he was benched for calling out Kubiak on the TD to Shaheed "I Told You" ... its not because DC is healed he's playing against the Panthers, DA is trying to justify why DC is on the roster. A win or lost vs the Panthers means nothing. Plus he's coming back when the others are healthy you can't make this up.
Saint cannot win this week. If we beat the worst team in the league- it means nothing, if we lose- we BECOME the worst team in the league. Geaux Panthers! Take us to 2-7 and start the rebuild!
