jordan mason is a hidden gem. 49ers needed a big bruising physical runner like this. The way defenses are playing our run game this yr, not a lot of open running lanes, you need to pick a lot of tough yards. Mason is 225 pounds and btw he led the nation with the highest broken tackle % with 44% his last season at Georgia Tech.

I know it's been a short week but they have to be careful putting Garoppolo in 3rd and long situations with defences playing the run and putting 6 on the line. He can't keep taking those kind of hits and expect to stay on the field. if they cant run they will have to start rolling outside keeping on the move in some fashion. Purdy needs to be ready. Kyle will have to me more creative with his offence he can't keep running these guys into a 6 man front when they know it's coming.

If the 49rs coukd put up 3 or 4 tds in every game without any turnovers, they would be easily the best team in the league.

The offense looked gas . I think the trip to Mexico just 6 days ago had them tired. But no excuses when it's time to play its time to play. Offence is lucky defense kept them in it and ultimately shut the saints down and held them to 0. Hope Mitchell is OK we just got him back . Offence must get rolling for next week against Miami. Defense will do they thing no doubt but offense needs step up again
