Covid has shut us down severely. Many restaurants and more bars have been forced to close their doors permanently due to lack of revenue. Next time y’all come down, I highly recommend exploring other areas: Garden District, Midtown, the Bywater, Tremé...so much to do and see and eat!

If you do come to Maine, look me up. I've lived here for 19 years and can show you lots of fun things to do. We have good camping too, both in campgrounds and out in the "boonies". And the fall colors are outstanding.

always wanted to go to Oak Alley, those live oak tress are amazing..........sometimes called spider trees LOL............been to orleans and loved it, take the garden district horse tour, amazing......or a paddle boat tour up the Miss......go to Johnsons Brewery (IF it is still there) and dunk your crawdads in beer LOL.......Benighs are amazing type of donate too!........we did that boat ride in the everglades, awesome

Y’all were in Marrero down the road from me!!! Love your videos!! The city is almost back to normal. Cade Du Monde had a crazy line this past weekend and lots of people. Could barely drive in the city. I would love to have a crawfish boil for y’all next time u come here.

Love New Orleans! Wasn’t that the plantation used to film interview with a vampire? It was so fun to follow along on your tour. We went there for our honeymoon in 1996. We had Cafe Dumonde every morning!

Hey you guys been binge watching your channel and loving it. Hubs and I went to Oak Alley when we went down Louisiana for our vacation one year and I loved oak Alley it was so cool. Those trees in back oh my amazing. We ate at that restaurant there too and it was pretty good from what I remember. I have many pictures of that place. Particularly the music being played while you were doing the air boat ride. NOLA has such a diverse music culture but I'm real partial to the blues and Zydego/Cajun styles of music found in that region.

I do not wash them after every use. Sometimes I will wipe it out with a wet rag or oil and then place it on heat for a few seconds.

i really like the french style plantation homes because of the color and unique designs....also I can't go back a third time to LA with my husband, specifically NOLA. We will get divorced if we go again based on past shenanigans 😂 Looks like fun!

I visited Oak Alley Plantation in Nov 2019! Beautiful! And those restaurants were likely shut down by COVID. I'll be sad to see which of my favorites have closed forever whenever I finally get to go back down there. :(

I went to a plantation outside of New Orleans years back and it said it was haunted and ghosts appeared. I didn't see any but definitely had creepy vibe. Those trees are beautiful but I can't imagine the place at night.

I was in New Orleans and ate at cafe du mou what ever. So if you ever been to the bath room it’s in the kitchen and Geas what is saw the powder sugar cakes you know so anyway they had run out of plats and were wiping the plates out with there aprons and putting other orders in the unwashed plates Omg I went back to my group I was with and told them we got the heck out

Wife and I are researching camp stoves. Please clarify your camp stove history. During the video about camp kitchens you mentioned a number of prior stoves that did not work out. Recent videos show a $44 Coleman with 10K BTU burners, but following videos show a Bass. Pro 2 or 3 burner with 25K BTU burners. Are you still backing the coleman or moved on to a BP with more output? Thanks
