The in game chat system is the best ive ever heared, not only does it sound great but the amount of diffrent sound effects that are added to the voices and being triggered by diffrent areas and states, makes this experience feel close to the most Immersive multiplayer horror game yet

I loved the addition of fake players as well. The way you can tell they're NPCs is that their names are sometimes spelled slightly different and they walk instead of Sprint. I know it would require a lot of permissions, but something I wish they'd add is an ability for the fake players to essentially record and replay certain lines of dialogue that the player their impersonating has said during the round just to throw people off even more.
Jesus, the characters you play as in this game gets harmed about as brutally as Ethan Winters just before shrugging it off like it was a mere tickle lol. Also I really like the voice chat distortion and echo when you go under psychosis. Thats a neat little audio effect.
Tbh when I heard this game was a thing, I thought it was going to be a buggy mess. I haven't played it, but from what I've seen from watching others play it, the game looks surprisingly well put together and the VOIP quality is impressive.

I played the beta and it made me a buyer because of how fun it was. But i didn't expect it to be so much better than the beta. progression-wise, no microtransactions so far, and is so well optimized. It was hard for me to run the beta, i couldn't even run the main menu properly, and i had to run the game in low settings with less than 40fps, but now i run everything 60fps (on medium, need to upgrade motherboard so i can install a new cpu i bought). If theres something like a season pass in the future, i'm sure it'll just be cosmetics. Hell, there might not even be season pass at all.
I earned my freedom few days ago and finished the game. In my experience I had 3 bugs, sometimes getting stuck on exit tube, Not being able to move after sliding and sometimes becoming one with a chair at the start of a trial.
The Skinner Man is my favorite monster so far "hey be cool be cool" casually grabbing your arm and committing philonious assault, this game is looks incredible
Outlast feels like one of those series that has a huge fan base but feels so niche at the same time Can't think of anyone who's played the games who genuinely hates them and thinks they're bad games I love them, I've just never played them myself, cause I'm a coward who watches H2ODelirious or Markiplier play through a horror game
Yeah I’m a huge fan of 1 and 2, I literally bought both because of Mark, and Dashie playing them, but I’ve only got 90 minutes in both combined because I am too scared to play them lol! Im glad I was able to support such fantastic developers though!
this is so real !! i have all the games ready to play but ive never gotten far in any of them since im a coward haha eek.. ive been a huge fan of the series since the first game dropped, i keep up with the lore and watch as many gameplay vids as i can, yet the moment id start the game id chicken out or run in circles before even entering the main building haha
When Charlie said he would step on every trap for the team, by golly Charles is a man of his word! He truly tripped every trap he could get his feet on and then some. I'm just surprised Charlie and Dankin survived the trials since the two literally did every _DO NOTs_ you could do lol.
The combination of co-op plus psychosis with the voice chat effects just makes me think it'd be cool if the game used AI to copy your friend's voice to mess with you by saying other stuff while in psychosis or something.
A good idea but pretty sure most people will just use Discord instead. Me and my pal played 2 games with in game voice but after that we just dropped it.
@@Jartran72 Early Access. Basically means the game is in beta and unfinished. It's still being worked on with content being added and bugs being squashed.
I can't believe that Kim jong ''uno'' was the first guy to play this game with cr1tikal. I love that Outlast went from spooky insane asylum game to a game where you bully mentally insane people by throwing bricks and glasses at them.
The fact the guy had the audacity to explore the thought that Charlie was experiencing a skill issue showed that he clearly wasn’t aware that Charlie was maxed out on Runescape
Outlast games are absolutely my favourite of all horror games they never dissapoint... i wasn't sure about this one but it grew on me it's pretty good..
really cool that everyone is giving this game good praises always thought it was just a cash grab with the "multiplayer horror genre" but im glad i was wrong
The voice chat is so cool. At first I was like “is that an echo and directional audio in the chat?” And then after hearing all the effects I was convinced this has to be the coolest implementation of chat I’ve heard in a multiplayer game.
I am amazed with how this game was put out, honestly. With *mostly* every other game with a series that involved coop; ending up in absolute chaos from the amount of bugs. This one was a lot different even with the small bugs that it has. I can't wait for more updates about this.
It does not look great lol the gameplay is repetitive and theres nothing really interesting about it. and it isnt scary, which I assume is the main point of the game..

Yeah.. Because recording yourself playing video games with your friends and uploading it multiple times a day to RU-vid takes MASSIVE amounts of skill and devotion.. It's so hard to do what most people do for free, especially when you're making millions of dollars to do it.. Idk how he got such amazing talent to talk and play games. It's amazing...
@@gstylez0107 The difference is his youtube isn't a side gig, he puts just as much effort in Twitch as he does on RU-vid, almost no one does that they only do one platform then hire editors for vod uploads. It's exhausting to run on both like he just uploaded a 1 hour video few days ago and streams 8-10 hours every stream, It's hard to keep the consistent quality so yes
I would love an outlast game where you're an mma fighter or something. Still gotta run from the big bads with knives but it would be cool to piece up some of those mentally ill fellas

Gotta say seeing charly play the game is really nice for a change. Im speedrunning the game myself and i have seen the stuff so often but it is still kinda scary and keeps you on edge even after hours and hours of gametime
I like that Charlie is into scary things. Its just unfortunate that he's become so desensitized to anything scary that he openly mocks it at every turn. I think its good to recognize that something is scary or unnerving without having to make a joke out of it every single time. Seeking out the weird and strange content is what got me into watching moist in the first place. I just hope if its good genuine content that he likes he doesnt have to make a mockery of it to show that hes not scared.
