I put these exact tires on my 12 Valve 4x4 Dodge 2500. Much better flr towing than the 34 inch 285s I had before. I will also put them on my Landcruiser when I get one soon!
Since you probably won't see this on YAW, I just wanted to say that I love all of y'alls videos. I've been here since the beginning of YouAlwaysWin, and remember the introduction of can we survive and Chris x. YouAlwaysWin will always be my favorite channel. Love you guys! ❤
Hippo looks amazing with the new wheels and tires! Can't wait to see what trouble you get up to with her. Beautiful views again and yes I cried (as per usual). I'm pretty sure that was a golden eagle that was flying there, especially if that wingspan was actually 6 ft.
Howdy! Hey, at about 3:30 in you mention you'd not put this tire on a truck, but then mention how heavy this LC is... I am actually installing this size tire but the Toyo ATIII LT255/80-17 (33.1" X 10" X 17") on my 5500 lb aluminum-bodied, 5.0 Coyote-powered 1/2 ton Ford next week! and I can't wait. Always wanted a 33 X 10 for this 1/2 ton because I've always thought the 285/70-17 on the truck now just too wide. Oh well. Now, here we are. That, and all the points you state that inspired your tire decision... exactly. Other than your reluctance to try these on a larger rig. That's enough out of me. Happy New Year! 2024.
Dude I dig the shirt😂 I use shirts like that too when I go out bass fishing, it feels real good when it’s hot as heck out there. But those shirts always gave me a Bill Dance kinda vibe, look him up and you won’t be disappointed, one of the funniest guys ever😂😂
Hey Chris i love the look of those wheels, looking to grab a set for mine LC with a simmilar tire size like yours. Could you tell what offset are you running? How the wheels are holding up? Did you got any tire rub! Keep on rollin'! Cheers :D
Chris, nice upgrade to the LC. Please tell us if you required to add spacers for the wheels or they got the correct offset for the LC. Keep the nice videos.
I went down down down and the flames went higher! And it burns burns burns! P.S. - you should bring binoculars with you, so you can scout. Wouldn’t want someone to sneak up on you unaware
I think the 99 or 00 was the last good year on the 100 Series. Those years didn't have hydraulic ride height and they also came with a selectable rear locker and CDL.
Hello Chris, thank you for your videos..we in SA used 255-90-16 in empty Quarter sand, its a sand tire NOT DOT come in 34 to 36.5 inches very tall and skinny, best tire for all terrain sand and rocks/Graber road abused
My dad's friend had one of these and had the same tires as you one day we were going to the mountains and he had to go up from 1 rock and because it was like a spike as soon as the rock touch the tire it exploded and we didn't have a spare
I was wondering to myself ..is he gonna say 255? Heck yeah brother, I run those(on factree 18’s)but 3” lift on my GX460. Love em! Goes like stink in all sorts of terrain. Snow, ice mud, gravel, airs down on the rocks nice. Diff terrain here in Vermont but wheelins wheelin
What do you think of the new Ford Bronco? It's not out yet, but it sure looks dope. All it needs is a CD player, a place to plug in my subs, and availability in orange to top it off for me. I'm thinking of trading in my CX-5 for one.
Bro I need your expert advice. I have a Prado with stock tires 265/65r17. Now I have done a 2 inch suspension lift and am looking for all terrain tires. Should I stick with 265/65r17 or increase the tire size to 265/70r17? I use it for going to deserts on weekends and as well my daily drives to work. I heard increasing the tire size effects the pick up power.
How would these narrower tires do in deep snow? I'm lifting my 05 sequoia and everyone seems to go with the 285/70/17s. But I found this size and I'm considering it as long as they're good in snow.
The Hippo looks great, but I disagree with what you said about tire width. It's about surface area, so length and width both matter. Maybe with a thinner tire the tread digs down into the dirt more, idk
