As someone who mountain bikes in Janesville and has watched the pump grow over the years, it’s really great to see someone bringing more publicity to the park. Keep up the great videos.
Thank you! It's a very fun trail. For a 40 minute drive for me, I think it's worth it and I'm sure I'll be back there at least a couple times this year.
Live in the Northwest suburb of Chicago was not aware of this park.I'm 63 years old.been. mountain bikeing for 35 years.I will definitely check the park out. Thanks for sharing greatly appreciated. FYI.. There's a tray group of trails called Paul Douglas in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, about 20 plus miles. I think you guys would like it. You get a chance check it out
Great video, After having rode at Winman Trails in Vilas County on Vacation I purchased a a pre-owned Trek to get back into trail riding. Looks like a nice place to take my nephew.
Nice video! I think everyone has hit that pine tree. Palmer is my go-to for getting practice on jumps. The rain the last few weeks has really did a number on that expert jumpline. Check out Atwood Park in Rockford when you get a chance.
Yep fun trail system, I started riding it late last summer since it's like 20mins from my house. Would be nice if they did a progressive line for beginners in the future, but they have done an amazing job in a short time frame
For sure it is already a great place for all skill types already. I'm sure it will just keep getting better. It's about a 40 minute drive for me and I think it is worth it for sure.
Rockport's xc stuff is definitely superior to palmer but has nothing like those jump lines. it's been awhile since hitting Rockport thanks for the reminder. extend your trip a little and hit Atwood as well!!!
I'm not sure who the professional builder but there is a core group of about 6 locals I'm told maintain it. Edit: professional company is Traction Trailworx
Janesville Velo Club took the lead for designing and constructing the trails with Traction Trailworx, and is now the organization that maintains the trails as well
