I actually had a thought related to this. Ranger got strength buffs (Including ranger hood providing strength now). A melee spear-ranger build would complement a pavise fighter. Ranger runs backs-step and cookies for sustain. Ranger can use back-step to space and move behind the pavise when back-step is on cooldown. If both fighter and ranger carry ranged weapons for backup then it becomes easy to poke at enemy teams. Ranger can also use pavise if needed, but not shield-bash.
@@KOSAqUA A way to make this even sweatier could be to have a healer-druid as a third. The shielder's ability to negate most hits will make heals-over-time highly effective and druids can escape at will, so you don't have to worry about protecting the healer.
@@tombofthememelich2192 Theres a lot of content I didn't include in this video, and majority of it was wizards just running from us and us chasing them around the entire map until they eventually take a static at the end of the match. Everyone was afraid when they saw 3 pavises
oh my godi I fantisised about this build so much but never had a party to do this with. This is great, you have no idea how happy it makes me to see you guys do this, great video
It was so much fun playing this comp, we are likely going to do a part 2 eventually. Triple Pavise is so much fun I still don't fully know why it works so well. Full PDR Plate fighters with pavises shouldn't beat the meta but it does!!
fun fact: the weapon mastery nerf is just go back to what he like in season 1, so for some very old player, the weapon mastery just become what they used to be🤣
