When I damaged my rose gold nib, I contacted TWSBI via email and was able to purchase just the nib/feed itself. It was $25 shipped. Just another option for you. Love the color!
Sold 😂! I love brown inks so much! That Caffe Twisbi 😍.. I decided to purchase in a fine nib and purchased a couple of brown inks to try. My first fountain pen over $30. Thank you for sharing 🤎
@@Wholelatteplans I decided to try Monteverde World of Colors Canyon Rust and Diamine Saddle Brown. I also ordered a lot of sample inks and will share once I have had time to experience them. I am a newbie so want to test a bunch of inks out first before investing in several larger bottles. Have you tried either one of these? If so, how do you like them?
My pen will be delivered today. Fine nib - my nib of choice for the Eco. Unsure what ink I will pair it with. Thank you for sharing. Love the swatches!!
@@Wholelatteplans It's the Monteverde Invincia Deluxe (Black and rose gold). Absolutely beautiful and well made, but I would say I still prefer my 580!! (Especially for the price difference)
@@Wholelatteplans probably not, I just got 2 Pelikane that I bought in Germany, waiting for an M200 with a B nib and a Delta Dune… I need to slow down! 🤦♀️
I piked up the Caffe Bronze as my first ever TWSBI in an EF with a sample of the Oster Caffe Crema & now wish I'd bought a bottle of it. Looks lighter in my sample but super coffee vibes still. Good to know Toffee could work also.
@@Wholelatteplans Already in love 100%! Relatively new to Fountain pens though my first was a Pilot VP EF, - I saw on socials & bought the next day - but my others are cheapies: Kakuno EF, Preppy 0.2, Platinum Plaisir and now my first TWSBI. I am FOSHO hunting down that ink though, so lush in the Hobonichi Avec
@@Wholelatteplans I have so far one Kakuno, 1 Pilot VP (investment), the Platinum Preppy and now Twisbi. Apparently the Oster Cafe Cream sells out locally as soon as it comes in
@@Wholelatteplans Genuinely LOVE IT! I am moving up to an A5 Cousin for the rest of the year and I think the Twsbi will get lots of use there. Now gotta hang out for the ink to come back in stock.
Mine is a 1.1mm stub so it shows off inks quite well. I thought about Noodler’s Walnut (an excellent ink) but ended up with Pelikan Edelstein Smokey Quartz. It looks good.
Fine nibs are my happy place. I did not get this pen even though I really really like it. I will almost always have fine or extra nibs (other than the sailor medium, which is like a fine) 😊 I think the color choice is perfect. I have one TWSBI with a medium and I never grab for it. I need to buy a fine or ef nib to put in it.
I have only three TWSBIs, but I love the ECOs best. The other one is a Swipe with a medium nib that writes broad. The two ECOs I have are fine and medium. I must say I prefer the medium for that one. Just a warning: TWSBI pens do not have interchangeable nibs.
@@sherrycohen1824 I have had the ecos and a diamond 580. I love the colors of the ecos, but the barrel has cracked on quite a few of them. I think if anything I'll get a TWSBI Diamond 580 next.
@@holyfirescribble ahh that’s a bummer :( the 580s are sooo worth it though! I haven’t tried an alr but I love the rose gold’s and the clear regular one. Plus the minis!
I think i do want this pen and I'm not an Eco fan. I'm going to wait to see if Kirk Spear of pen realm will stock this model so i can get a needlepoint grind.
@@Wholelatteplans Thank you! I'll give it a few weeks and if he doesn't stock it, I'll buy a fine or extra fine from another retailer and see if he can grind it for me at the DC Pen show
Ive jusy bought a new cover for my planner. And i cant decide which twsbi to buy 🙁… you have all the colors that i like. Which color do you think goes better with my new gold leather cover? 🫣😬
