You are very responsible and doing a great job. But it does matter to cut the drafts out entirely. Even though the window opening is high up. All drafts can cause health problems. I lost my first goat Bacchus back in 1972 from a window open high up from his pen because of the brisk winter winds. Also you don't want predators jumping in. We always had coyotes so I had to be vigilant at lambing/kidding. I started in 1972 with a baby monitor to my house and barn with a long outside extension cord to get electric to my barn. Then I graduated over almost fifty years to electric in barns and total monitoring system to my house in my bedroom and kitchen. This was good for birthing, animals, listening for any animal in distress, predators and yes occasionally thieves on the farm. Also could to monitor each other if you have an accident and trying to get assistance. Just my advice from a retired farmer. You are doing an awsome job and the videos are outstanding.

Tryed to work on front hydraulic to put bucket in front tractor

Lambs are very cute. We’re you able to get your car windshield fix yet? We had rain and most of our snow melted, today new snow with wind. Possibly a foot. Be good. Peace and love. We have a Barrel Bolt or a Heavy Duty Surface bolt that goes into the upper door frame and a long cane bolt that goes down into the concrete. These are all on the inside of the second door. Makes the door very sturdy. Since you have no concrete yet lay large flat rocks into a square at ground level, have cane bolt hit into center of the rocks or a piece of narrow pipe would work too. The metal cane rotates so it can be flush against door( does stick out so the animals can’t hurt themselves). You have to release these two locks to get this second door to open. On the outside door we have a padlock hasp. Use can use a padlock to lock or we just use a large aluminum rigging link to keep it closed and easy to get in the shed. Deivids you can maybe make yourself if you want to try your hand at metal work. Your doors are so beefy not sure if anything like these would work for you but you can take a look online using these names and see the design. Don’t think hardware would be to expensive if you want to change out later for easier entrance. All depends how often you need to go thru the building. Wondering on your open windows could you maybe use a couple of old windows put together to get you by until you find the right size. Experiment with old windows to figure out how you can install the window but still able to open and attach few hooks and latches to stay open. Might have to add a piece of wood across the window to attach fasteners. I know they just used a long wooden pole on windows to prop them open in barns for airflow during summer months. I’m sure you can figure something out. Buy a piece of plywood, our home store will even cut in half so you can get it into your vehicle. Worth asking at less. Good luck. Did Barbra’s 1st daughter (the one she came to the farm with originally) get pregnant by her brother? And Barbara get pregnant by her son? I think best to either castrate the males if your having them as pets. I’ve pet sheep & they castrate them at an early age. Great work guys 😊💯✅

Excellent idea for expanding the living environment of the barn. However, you might want to castrate the adult males in your group if you are going to be keeping all the animals as pets, otherwise you are going to need to expand the barn structure on a yearly basis.

LOL 🤣🤣 silly Sheep 🐑🐑 Looks great and they do have more space .. maybe u can put a piece of the wood at the bottom of the door on the outside .. would like a bracer so they won't think that can butt. It and get out .. u would only attach to one door . And would overlap the other .. but would keep them alittle more stable with the wind blows .. that way can still open the doors later . Just a thought 🤔 so they don't move to much .. I can just see her butt it to get outside . Lol 🤣🤣 think she has a bit of cabin fever .. have a wonderfully Blessed day . 6:00 I suggest a lever that is attached to the door and lock in behind the beam above the door. Just a bit of wood with a screw near the top. The top lock in on top beam, and the bottoh reach a meter down and work as a lever. Sometimes there is a groove in the top beam for the lever to lock in to. Fastens on the door half that does not open that often,. Or just a hook between door top and beam above.

The house you’ve made is great , nice safe warm space for everyone. To more easily move the mommas just take the baby & lead her to where you want her to go , she’ll follow her baby .

Good job as always. With gates doors and animals stalls u want function not looks. I think u should make it as secure as u can and don’t think about if it looks odd. You can always put the post across both doors and/or the across doors that also droop onto wood “U” s on the wall on each side. Luv fm Ca.
