I can appreciate the fact that not only do we have similar taste in fragrances, your nose is well trained and experienced enough to appreciate the absolute unique beauty that is Amorous Intense 🍐🍏💚 As I stated in my initial video breaking down the notes, I couldn't stress enough that this fragrance is not at all a thick, syrupy sweet heavy gourmand. I love sweet gourmands that stil smell like perfume!!! With that out the way..I'm totally jacking this eye look 🤩🤩 * I will give you your credit ofcourse 😉

Amorous Intense was a total disappointment for me. On my skin, all I get is the "jolly green apple rancher candy" and later the pear. No coffee, no rum, no cream, no caramel. Not sure what happened with this composition as I can't say for me that it is a gourmande such as many of the Xerjoff or Narcotica scents. Glad I got a decant and I will be returning my purchase back to Navitus. Yes, the DNA at the end on my skin is Ambrosia Imperiale which I have and love. I had high hopes for Amorous Itense as I love pear, apple, rum, and caramel but unfortunately did not work on me.
I returned a fully unopenned shipping box as I was able to test Amorous via a decant and did not like it. After over a month of sending emails to Navitus, no response. I have filed a complaint through the Consumer Protection Agency as well as through my Credit Card. Not only Navitus Parfums kept my fragrance, but never got a refund. Navitus is a quick "money grab" company with very shady business practices based on my experience. @@aubriboatengmaah2290
Great choices! I wish I could agree with you on Amorous Intense. Unfortunately the dry down on me smells like a candle and not in a good way. So sad, I really wanted to love it since I love AI and had such great success with Ambrosia. No more blind buys for this girl..lol 😂
Your review on Amorous Intense is spot on. I couldn't agree with you more. To me the dry down is a creamy vanilla apple pear. Yum! Your eye shadow is amazing!
The maceration topic is interesting and has so many people confused. People confuse maceration (like you explained) with maturation (aging). The aging is like wine, and just making it better (vanilla ages well). Additionally, perfumes with high naturals get very upset by travel and extreme temperatures and needs to rest a week or more depending what its been through (like lost in the mail for a long time).
Exactly. My bottle was warm when I got it. I live in Miami. So I knew it needed to cool down. I sprayed it out...and each day it gets better and better.
Hi Jackie.. I wore Amorous Intense all week and I absolutely enjoy this fragrance. The first 3 days I just got the green apple and a muskiness. But by day 5 and 6 I definately got a green candied caramel apple then the pear projects with the whip cream and the coffee in the dry down. To my nose I do get a similiar musk that's in Ambrosia Imperial but these two fragrances definitely stand on their own and aren't the same at all (to my nose). Ambrosia Imperiale is like Enchantress from Marvel and Amorous Intense is like Shuri from Black Panther... Both certified BANGERS!
I received my Amorous Intense and upon initial spray said Noooo. It smells like a green jolly rancher! I may sell it, not sure, but right now I'm letting it sit and will revisit it next week.

I totally agree with your review on Amorous Intense. I haven’t loved it as much as the other one though. . I have had it for a week now too. I get no rum, Carmel, and all the booze notes. Just sweet green apples. It hasn’t been a love for me this time. Will try it again in a week or so. Love the color of the bottle though. Beautiful
I absolutely love Lattafa Honor & Glory 😍 I feel like the performance is only getting better with it. It is so addicting too! And no it is not a dupe of anything. They did a great job with it 😊
In my opinion, the Carolina Herrera Confidential is the best private line out there! I think they are all amazing and the most well blended fragrances available.
Amorous intense smells just like sharp Jolly ranchers on my skin and it never changes . I think it’s a skin chemistry thing cause some people are getting all the gourmand notes and some aren’t 😢 Im OBSESSED with Ambrosia Imperial though . It works better with my body chemistry

This smells terrible!’ I read about spraying enough sprays to empty the atomizer pipe and letting it sit. I completely forgot about it for 5 months. I came back to a completely different fragrance!😮 Whichever process was involved, it kept me from throwing the bottle out! I hope you’re enjoying your weekend….
This has happened to me so many times with so many different perfumes. It’s taught me to not judge a perfume too soon. So happy you love Casablanca now! It’s one of my favorites.
Thanks for this! I have both Amorous Intense and Ambrosia Imperiale, and to me they definitely have the same DNA. Even with different notes they’re strikingly similar. Yet somehow you need them both! Ambrosia Imperiale is definitely stronger to me. I hope you’re right about Amorous Intense getting stronger over time. For me it’s a skin scent after an hour or two so far. And I’m so in love with the dry down! I really wish it had the power Ambrosia Imperiale has. But I love them both and very happy with both in my collection! AI did her thing!
I love the dry down too. I’m really starting to pick up the whipped cream now, and I love it. I do think new formulas need time, and I do think it will get stronger. ❤️

I love honor and glory! I get a blast of pineapple but then it goes more woody on my skin in the dry down which I am not mad at. But if you are looking for a sweeter version with pineapple all the way through Lataffa Rave Now would be perfect! [black bottle]
I love amorous intense, but i honestly wished that green apple jolly rancher scent stayed through out the wear. It's my favorite part of the fragrance. The dry down smells very similar to ambrosia imperial to me.
I definitely enjoy the green apple jolly rancher opening as well, but I adore the pear, caramel and whipped cream it turns into. Such a fun, delicious fragrance. ❤️

Just got my venom sample and I’m sad to say it’s just major synthetic strawberry with patchouli:/ … smells like something from bath and body works. I think for me a better option is Mula Mula or La Capital. Bummer tho! Really wanted to love this lol

Since I keep hearing people compare SHL Venom Incarnat, Xerjoff La Capital, and Byron Mula Mula I would love to hear ur opinions on that and ur ranking. Kind of like a battle of the scent profile and which u prefer. I’ve only got my nose on La Capital but I’m so curious on the other 2 and how they compare? I love all 3 but Mula Mula and las Capitale are so similar, I only have La Capitale. I slightly prefer it. Venom Incarnat smells very different however. It sweeter and the strawberries are more pronounced. No oud either.
Amorous intense sounds right up my alley, need to get my hands on that one!! Also, so glad to see someone else with Italica in their top ten, it’s in mine as well, one of my favorite gourmands ever!!!❤❤
The opening of Amorous Intense really turns me off... then within minutes it becomes a delicious baked pear+apple fragrance to me. I get mostly pear with some apple... but that beginning kinda turns me off... such a Rollercoaster 🎢 of emotions. I am thinking I will sell decants of it and keep the bottle still. Because I do love the drydown and it comes quickly

Italica takes me back to something I just can’t remember. Maybe from my childhood? I can’t quite put my finger on it but I have smelled it somewhere before. It drives me nuts every time I put it on!

Jackie, your explanation in the opening with the apple is the same for me..then the pear which lasts throughout for me. I get the caramel and whipped cream in the base. It is airy like ambrosia imperiale to me.. I love it and can’t wait for it to macerate even more to see how it changes😊❤

I just ordered a 30mil of Italica yesterday a long with Accident a la vanill Cream berry( gonna die of old age before I finish typing this name), a banana laughy taffy scent called Donna senteza, Herod, Dark vanilla by Montal, & a cozy coffee oud scent called Irreverent by Histories de Parfums. Also picked up Majnoon by Azman perfumes which is a pomegranate oud scent with a very resinous feel, & Panettone, though the last 2 are really for winter coming up
That Lattafa sounds interesting... Every time I see "oud" in a fragrance name, I tend to want to run to the hills or duck and cover.😂 Thanks for explaining maceration and oxidation. Definitely think Lattafa might not fully macerate their fragrances, and oxidating them helps get them to properly mature. I think Dexter is adorable! 😍 (I used to have pet garter snakes as a kid. One of our neighbours was a bit of a rescue for reptiles. I thought he was the coolest guy ever!)
Happy Halloween! Unfortunately I'm not going to be doing anything for it. I ended up catching COVID for the first time 😭. I still have my sense of smell and taste, thankfully. So I still want to smell stuff, but stuck in my room, away from the family. But I'm going to ask my husband to get me Amethyst Haze for the holidays. I've been thinking about getting it for about a year and a half now. Revisited my sample that I had before, and it is amazing.
I really agree with your thoughts about both Ambrosia and Amorous. They don’t smell the same in my opinion. There might be a certain DNA from the perfumers and I don’t know why some reviewers think they are flankers. I love both and leaning more towards Amorous. ❤❤❤
Amethyst haze, it’s been on my scent split shopping list as far as decants for awhile and I only noticed it because amethyst is my birthstone. I may get it soon. I’m not even sure if I’ve ever seen a review on it before.

Hi Jackie, I am so glad you adressed the snake issue. I feel that whenever I watched a perfume vlogger saying they disliked a perfume because there was a snake involved, it had something to do with religion and a mythological idea of a snake. Being an animal lover that is hard for me to swallow. Snakes have their purpose in life, just like any other being. They are just trying to survive. They can't help the way they look. I am sure in the eyes of an animal humans must look terrifying as well. Please give snakes a break and work on your mindset, because this is why they are hunted down and killed. If you are scared of them for whatever reason, at least give them the proper respect. They don't set out thinking: today I am gonna kill a human just for the fun of it. And to be honest, I think they are beautiful. I can't bring one in the house of course, because I am mom to a feathered prince.
I didnt like la Capitale it was very heavy on the leather and oud i like more sweet perfumes so I wonder if i would like Venom incarnate? Aww i am not scared of snakes i wont own one as a pet but they can be cute so thats so adorable that you have a snake baby who likes to watch tv adorable 🥰🥹🐍
I wish I smelled what y’all smelled with Amorous Intense. All I smell is…. Well this feels like it should be a Tiziana Terenzi fragrance. It smells like a cousin of Kirke or Cassiopea and yes the smell of fruity musk is prominent to me. Unfortunately I don’t like it.
