I have Sintra and am in love with it but want to try the Nobile 1942 one you mentioned! Also I love Halfeti too and ordered a sample from Etiket as well. I know what you mean…it blew my socks off too! But I won’t be getting a bottle. Great video 💓
Halfeti is a perfect Arabian scent. I know Halfeti and I own Penhaligon's As Sawira, which are very similar. I hope you get a bottle of Halfeti one day, when you see yourself go back to the sample all the time. But I can tell, there is a difference when you spray from the sample or from the bottle directly. You surprised me tho with Halfeti
I’m a tuberose girl so I LOVE the entire linterdit line. I got Marc jacobs perfect intense on the first sniff even though I got a hint of “popcorn” from it lol but I had to have it. I always enjoyed my way but I got the intense because it was so captivating. But girl! People don’t talk about Ralph Lauren woman often but my way intense and Ralph Lauren woman intense are VERY similar (I have both). But the dry down on them they switch up a little. Loved the video 💜
I love sampling. I buy about a dozen at a time, and I always plan to test one per day, spend time and let the scent develop. But I get too excited and wear them all in one day.
Once I heard about twisted Lilly and their samples, I decided to order samples before I buy full bottles if I can’t smell them in store. I want a curated collection and I can’t afford to blind buy all Willy nilly! Lol Its been so helpful finding out what I like (or dislike).
I agree with u with Daisy. I was hesitant to get it at first because of the “basic” reputation. But hey it’s easy and love it and if i dont wanna think too much and don’t wanna wear anything, i will wear it 💕
You must try “danza delle libellule” by Nobile 1942, in my opinion the best mouth-watering and sophisticated scent out there (btw the pronunciation is nobile not nobil ‘cause it’s an italian company). Love you from Italyyy
Omg same! I am having a hard time with tuberose too! I started my fragrance journey in January and I initially thought I liked tuberose so I bought Armani my way, I wore it a few times and really enjoyed it, but recently I wore it again and I just couldn’t stand it I had to sell my bottle. I guess my nose has changed, 40 bottles later🤣. I will stay clear from tuberose fragrances for now. I have also found out that I am not a huge gardenia fan!
I always buy samples if I can, so I ordered a bunch of BDK samples last winter, went through them quickly because they are like 2ml and I fell in love with some of them. Now I bought a full bottle of Gris Charnel and it's giving me a headache! Go figure!! 🤦🏻♀️
I got the designer samples from the bay in Canada, the niche from Etiket and H Parfums in Canada but you can buy them from lucky scent and perfumes and decants online in the states as well
I love the L'Interdit line and the Intense is the best but I also like the Rouge. I find the tuberose in L'Interdit quite different from the one in My Way. My Way is more bubblegummy and brighter.
Peridizion is my best kept secret. My husband always goes out of his way to ask what I am wearing. In his words I smell fantastic and like a snack. The only thing keeping me from buying a full bottle is well the bottle.
Hahaha me too, every time Sally talks about it I want it, but I can’t do it. The floral note in both My Ways and in all linterdit does not go well with me. My bf says I smell like an old lady or Waikiki tourist 🤦🏻♀️ but they smell so good!!!
Hi Ilythia, I have Gucci Flora GG edt, in the clear bottle, and I love it. I feel good when I wear it, like special. Haven't tested the edp. Not keen on the opaque bottle. Cheers Linda ☺️⚘🌿💕
Oh my God I love this video so much I wanna say that it would seem like a novel but I definitely you make me very curious about Perdizzione and heures d’absence 🥰
Hi Ilythia! Happy Friday! 🌸 Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on Perdizione - I’ve been curious about that one since I like Love by Kilian. Can’t wait to get a sample of that one ☺️ SOTD - Xerjoff Decas 💕
I am as guilty as anyone of blind buying but have slowly gotten better. It is so wasteful money wise and when someone pointed out to me it is bad ethical choice as it is not good for the environment, I decided to be more mindful of my purchases and get samples. Best decision ever, perfumes I would certainly have bought blind, I now know would not suit me 😊
Yes I agree - it's definitely the more eco and financially responsible choice to get samples first - although all unnecessary plastic and waste is not ecologically friendly. There was a time I wouldn't even buy cosmetics that came in plastic or had excess packaging and now we're all about the beautiful packaging. When I re-home perfumes, they always go to someone who will cherish them and who wanted them so I don't see that as being too irresponsible. The little samples are definitely a better choice except we still toss away those little plastic sprayer bottles which end up in our earth or oceans - i try not to think about it lol.
I have the original Love, but I would love to try the Nobile 1942 for a more natural interpretation on some of Love's notes. I am looking forward to the Contre Moi review as I keep hearing about it from Amanda Soignee. Only 200mls are available in Vancouver right now.
Hi Ilythia. Do you think that L'heures smells similar to BDK Bouquet D'Hongrie? I have that one and I think it smells a bit like Chance Eau Tendre but better.
Awww man now I gotta try that penhaligons ones. I had a sample set from the Nordstrom anniversary sale and I only liked changing Constance. Lol! The rest were really weird!!! Very masculine leaning but also very interesting and unique! Just not for me….
I have a sample coming from Ivory Route and I can’t speak too much to the performance of perdizione because I haven’t given it a proper wear, I just know it lasts on my skin for quite a while!
I think Intense is better, the sesame note in it makes it that little bit different to the original l'interdit and less sweet. The intense has a more classy, dark feel to it. Rouge is sweeter than the original which I don't like since the original is sweet enough.
@@thesimplechiclife all till now agree that the intense one is better and more seductive ...thank you for helping ... I will consider your opinions...will take them in mind ...your fan from IRAQ
Both are beautiful sides of the same coin, I find the Intense to be unique, addictive and longer lasting while bordering on being unisex smelling on the dry down. The Rouge is a femme fatale, warm, less projecting sensual scent which is absolutely gorgeous and best suited for intimate occasions where you’ll be close to your significant other.
