Hey Naomi. I live in Nigeria too. I want to get this Girl of Now but I’ll like to know what perfume you’ll say it’s similar too so I can get an idea of how it smells
I’ve had both Jean Paul Gaultier Classique Intense and Elie Saab edp or Elie Saab In White and they are almost the same perfumes. Why? Both were created by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. If you own 1 of these perfumes you basically own the other ones as well. They smell almost exactly the same. It’s boring me to death and a little disappointing. Now I’m relatively new to the Theirry Muglar perfumes. I just got Alien and Alien Flora Futura and I LOVE them. I also got the newest Angel 2019 edt and I really like it. I hated the original for years but I like the new Edt. It’s a cross between really liking it and thinking it’s weird. It smells like patchouli from Original Angel really dialed down and softer, with praline, apple, peony, and some other floral. It’s like spicy, sweet, and a fruity apple, and a little fresh. I really don’t like patchouli that much either.

For me "Girl of now" is so much better than "Black Opium" and "Scandal" ❤ But its true, its sweet as hell , a little less , would be better. On me the lasting power is bomb , it lasts on me the hole day, till another morning .
I think they are all the same « type », I like girl of now more then the two you mentioned as well. I think the lasting power is not bad at all, but I have fragrances that last up to 48h so I guess I am harsh 😅❤️

We use it a lot too for drinks the same as rose water which is used in cooking. Orange blossom and rose are two basic notes we smell them a lot so some people don't like them in perfumes as they're very common.
I love Girl of Now - the bottle is so pretty and I adore the scent. I love gourmands and the pistachio note in this one really gives it more depth and warmth. You look great by the way Mila:)
Leuta X totally! at the store where I work for 5 years now. Our number 1 seller every year is Chance Eau Tendre by Chanel. I personally like Alien and Versace crystal noir, thats how I found her Chanel. Because nobody, not a single soul at my job loves Alien. I thought there is something wrong with me🤣

Yeah it’s got that pineapple 🍍 fruity note to it, so it’s a nice summer version if you like the original. The original is more pure almond & pistachio notes. 💛
Orange blossoms smell heavenly. I had an orange tree in my backyard as a child, every January when the tree bloomed I would smell the flowers for hours.

I wear it during our colder months....Unfortunately our winters in South Texas are very short, coldest it gets here is about 40 degrees. Chloe Nomade edp is my ❤️ scent , already two seasons ! I have 3 bottles as bac up ( and Ihave about 100 different bottles 😉), but Nomade is my big discovery . Also, I have to tell you if you like the note Almond in perfume. You have to try Serge Lutens Datura Noir. It’s a white floral, coconut, vanilla, myrrh, apricot, almond…. it’s insanely good.

All countries around Mediterranean sea are very familiar with citrus trees being everywhere. Smelling the beautiful aroma in streets when trees blossom. You find a bottle of orange blossom water in every single home, we use it in a lot of traditional desserts. As a Lebanese, elie saab is putting our famous sweets in bottles. Mainly almond, pistachio, sugar, vanilla and orange blossom!

HeidiOfAllTrades yeah its pretty strong to me. Alot of people claim they dont smell it, but i am very in tune with patchouli. You can always buy and return. Sephoras return policy will allow you to open, try and return. I mostly buy from them if i can just because they are one of the only companies, nordstrom as well, that allows for the return.
Apricot pie with vanilla custard! I have Casmir in my collection also Jungle Elephant which to me has a Feminité des Bois, by Lutens. Patouli to me is animalic and sexy.

I agree with you. I grew up in the Caribbean, so I am familiar with piña colada, coconut, mango, papaya, salty beaches, tropical fruits & everything tropical! That is why I love tropical/sweet perfumes, even though many people say they are "immature and young". However, you go to my country and most women smell like that no matter the age 🤷🏻♀️. I miss the Caribbean 🥲

I love Girl of Now! I do notice it hangs around quite long and I notice it still in my car the next day. I look at this as a gourmand evening perfume. It can be super heady and heavy, but worn lighthanded it can be cozy and sexy.
Hi Mila! I'm a new subscriber to your channel so I'm binge watching some of your videos today for fun. I love pistachio ice cream and I found a fragrance from Demeter Fragrance called simply, "Pistachio Ice Cream". I'm thinking of buying it and layering it with Girl of Now for a stronger pistachio smell. It's a cheap fragrance so I don't mind doing a little experiment with it. I'll let you know if it was worth it! Hope you are well! :)
Your description of how you feel about patchouli may seem strange to some, but I couldn’t have said it more eloquently myself!! You somehow said exactly what I think!!! I want my patchouli like I want vermouth in my martini... non-existent!
Hope things get better with the panic attacks, I used to struggle with them myself. Had to do a lot of therapy to improve but luckily I learned a lot of techniques to help. Look up mindfulness training on RU-vid, it helped me a lot! ❤️

Thank you gorgeous for this video, girl of now for me smells like olympea, wich I gave away because it was too sweet and strong for myself. When I initially bought it, I loved it, now i cant stand it, I cant stand sweet fragrances. Theres an Oscar de la renta bella rosa perfume that is supossed to be a dupe for delinas, smelled it and was so so so sweet it made me sick.
