It’s just wonderful! Congratulations! It’s inspiring. The piggies may not realize how wonderful it is but I’m sure they will vibe off of your joy there.
The rats do get supervised playtime outside their cages. The cages we have are double decker critternations. I don't have much of the house chores to worry about because my boyfriend is home most of the time. I do work a lot (I'm the controller of a hospital) but taking care of my pets is what I like to do, so it's kind of my hobby and relax time.
Do you still feeding blue grass from KMS hayloft? I ordered second cut from them ones and it was so yellow and prickly My pigs don’t like SPS Timothy and they don’t really like orchard grass of any brand, only some if my 7 pigs will nibble on it so it’s really hard to find good Timothy hay brand on consistent basis Oxbow quality is different each and every time I wish I could switch all of my pigs to orchard grass since it’s easier to find a good quality Did you just started to feed them orchard grass and they had no choice? It’s a big headache for me on a monthly basis to hunt for Timothy hay
No, KMS Hayloft doesn't exist anymore. My last box of hay was oxbow orchard grass and the quality was good. I haven't fed Timothy hay consistently in years because I'm super allergic to it, so my pigs just get used to it. You can try tractor supply or a local feed store. Hay is just one of those things that the quality is not always going to be 100% since it's grown and packaged outdoors.
Loving the room. Very inspiring and well thought out that's for sure. Personally I don't know if I'd be able to handle a room with no window. But overall I love how you dealt with the lighting situation. It just looks great. Congrats on the fantastic job!
Yeah its different for sure. Luckily with the new location there's space right outside this room that is WAY easier for us to do floor time where there are windows so they will still get plenty of fresh air too.
@@TheTinyHerd That's fantastic!! If it weren't for my cat being such a hunter, I'd be able to give my guinea pigs floor time but it's hard to with the cat. He's already tried once to attack one of my rescue piggies thats why I moved them all upstairs into bedrooms where I can close the door
